I had a truly marvellous espresso here today, which prompted me to post a review. But I go here regularly for afternoon coffee with a friend, and I really love this place. The coffee is delicious and they have lovely staff. Plus it’s so quiet inside.

One of my favourite places for coffee in Dublin city centre. Definitely far less pretentious than some of the other coffee shops in the area and worth a visit just for the people watching opportunities. Although it is cramped enough inside, they do excellent coffee and pastries which are cooked in house. They also sell a range of ground and wholebean coffee which I haven’t tried but if they’re anything like the coffee served at the counter I’m sure it’s also top quality. I must pick up a bag the next time I am in.

Great find in the heart of the city. Even with a map, keep an eye out or you will miss this gem. Great looking pasties, friendly barista, and good coffee. Service oriented. Seemed happy to have me there. A little expensive, but it is a quiet oasis compared to the bustle of Grafton street.

A flying review for this place I just ate in. Whilst I’m fully aware that the buns, cakes, range of delicious looking pastry look, just that, delicious, I opted for the omelette and a flat white as it was lunch time. The coffee was good, and I particularly liked the little glass that it came in. As well as that the place itself was cosy and would be nice for a friendly chat. But I wasn’t too impressed with the omelette as it was incredibly oily and had nothing else served with it. Combine this with the price being just OK coming to € 8.25 and it left a little to be desired. In short, I’m not in a rush back, except maybe for a coffee and a pastry(they really do look delicious).

Nice little spot that feels bigger inside than from outside. The coffee was great and the eggs benedict was perfect. Friendly staff and a nice big window to look out at the rain ;-)

A few weeks ago while my fiancé went to get his hair cut and I went for a wander to put in the time… I decided on Sasha House Petite on Drury St. According to their twitter bio they are the biggest little Franco-Slavic patisserie in all of Dublin town. This is a v small spot and you could v easily walk straight by it and not give it much thought. I’m afraid if you do you’ll be totally missing out!!! They do a great selection of coffee. I noticed their breakfast menu includes porridge and French toast but I got distracted as my eyes were drawn to the impressive patisserie displays… I said to the barista I found it hard to choose just one to eat with my Americano(the beans were from a farm in Brazil and this is the only place in Dublin you can try them) The croissants were just out of the oven but I eventually went for a turnover(I think it was raisin, apple and cinnamon) I sat down on a coffee sack covered seat. Out of the corner of my eye from my seat I could see fresh pastries being made. The barista brought over my coffee and turnover. The turnover was still warm. When I bit into it the fruit was juicy and the pastry was just perfect. I realise this sounds totally gushy but honestly this has to be the nicest coffee place I’ve been to. They’re also a micro roasters and sell beans. I didn’t buy any this morning but it means I have another excuse to go back with my fiancé so it’s not just because I want to try more of their cakes /pastries!!! Since then I’ve been back but unfortunately he wasn’t as taken with the coffee as I am… Still I’d recommend you try it — At least once!

I was told this would be the best coffee ever but sadly it wasn’t. The coffee was good but not the best when compared to Roasted Brown /3fe etc. Perhaps if I had selected a different blend as they had various selections? Maybe I will go back to try. Its very small, seating for maybe 12 people. We managed to get a table for 2 on a sunny Sunday afternoon without much issue. It does however feel cramped and the service was OK but not the friendliest — again maybe just got them on a bad day. What didn’t disappoint was the cinnamon swirl and apple crumble we had with our coffee. Delicious. The car park this sits alongside has just received my award for worst car park ever. I will probably go back and give it another try.

Good coffee, eggs benedict, friendly staff, and fast free wifi. The stuff coffee shop dreams are made of…

Blink and you will miss it so true! Lovin Dublin lead me here yesterday to give a Matcha Latte a whirl. An avid incredible hulk fan i leap at the chance to try anything green. I dont really see what the hype is all about with the matcha but the place itself had a lovely feel to it! I had scrambled eggs on one slice of toast which was nice and for a fiver you couldnt really complain that it was too small because thats gluttony and gluttony is a sin supposedly — so i wont! There was a selection of beautifully crafted fresh breads and cakes which i believe are made in-house. The eclairs looked like they would be enough to topple any slimming world member or whale watchers fans moral compass! I managed to resist the urge but cant honestly say I will be able to in the future! I love going to little places like this, the word«Artisan» comes to life in the form of smell & sight aswell as taste!

Bubbly helpful lady serving us. Really quaint spot and I’d highly recommend the vanilla éclairs, made on site by their equally lovely patisserie chef. Great spot for watch the world go by :-)

A super tiny little café tucked in near the car park on Drury street with only a few small tables and serving mainly coffee, pastries and cakes, and some breakfast foods. It was pretty full the day I went but was lucky to get a seat and enjoyed a nice soya flat white, served in a glass! They have some great coffee here I must say, and they offer soya and almond milk as well. There’s a great selection of cakes and pastries which most people were ordering, all of which seem to be freshly made in the café itself, hence the nice smell! The only drawback is the small size, making it hard to get a seat sometimes and the service was average at best. Also the tables are super tiny. But the prices are really cheap, the coffee is pretty good(although I’m not fond of it being served in a glass since it gets cold too quickly), and they do offer a good variety in terms of sweet stuff!

Wend in today after their review on LD last night. The review was pretty accurate, they made it sour way smaller than it actually was though, there’s plenty of room! 4 or 5 tables is fine for a small café The one thing that I like most about the place is the smell!!! It’s bakery aswell and the smells oozing around the café are Devine ! It took some serious self control but I managed not to order an sweet pastry they all looked absolute delicious but a cream pastry didn’t seem right at 8am. The girls there were lovely as well really a little gem in the city center, il have to revisit for lunch some day soon

Sasha House Petite should be next on your hit list if you are in any way interested in good coffee. This place is excellent. Starting with its quirky location. Hunkered in at the entrance of a car park, it would be easy to be cynical. However, the stylish stone tile floors, characterful bare stone walls and stylish seating quickly turn its odd location into an unexpected selling point. Although, I don’t want to sound like I’m trying to make up for its location; I loved it. There are a number of different brews of excellent quality coffee available to choose from. You won’t struggle to choose, however. The baristas are amongst the friendliest you could hope to encounter. Clearly highly informed and experienced in coffee, they have the perfect coffee to satisfy your taste. My friends and I ordered three different brews specifically tailored to our request. It left us all very impressed. A number of dessert options are available, which were highly regarded in a review of SHP that I read in Totally Dublin Magazine. I didn’t try them myself, although they looked as though they could easily live up to the review. This place thoroughly deserves each star. Great for anyone who is into their coffee. Take up to three friends along(it isn’t the most spacious), and try a few brews. They will be impressed. Bring a date if they are really into their coffee, although perhaps find somewhere a little more romantic if they are otherwise inclined. I will be returning here for sure.

Borsch with pork belly bread! First time for everything! And it was super delish. People should try it once, probably not for everyday consumption as it’s quite rich. Ask about their coffee, she said that they produce their own«micro-roasted coffee», I’m not a coffee drinker, but other folks can chip in here and say what they think.
