Ryanair, the airline that you love to hate.
The good
— You can get flights for super cheap. I went to Brussels for the weekend for £50 return.
— The flights are generally on time.
— They now let you take a small handbag as well as a trolley case onboard so you don’t have to stuff your handbag in.
The not good
— Don’t expect customer service from them. Seriously they don’t care.
— The airports aren’t always the main ones, so check how easy, expensive and long it will take to get to the city center from them.
— The luggage rules are super strict. If you are ¼ inch above the maximum size they will stop you getting on the plane with it and charge you a ridiculous amount to check it it.
— Actually the rules in general, make sure you follow them or they’ll charge you at least € 40 to reprint your boarding pass or check in an item or pretty much make any changes.
— The stupid fan fair to say that you’ve landed on time. Just annoying.
So follow the rules, play the game and you can go away very cheaply and easily. Just hope that you aren’t too delayed.

On 12÷12÷15 I was on a cancelled flight and stranded for two extra days in Dublin. Ryanair has since commited over email to pick up the tab for the hotel fee. Two months and many emails later– still no check. VERY unreliable and unprofessional service. Avoid at all costs.

I have flown with this airline to a good few destinations, they are handy for those cheap flights and the customer service isn’t that bad! Your paying for what you get for. I always bring carry on luggage and never get caught with a longchamp travel bag (they can’t weigh the bags as they use a cardboard rectangle box to see if your carry fit their requirements). They are strict on your carry on but they will never weigh these bags! Good few destinations but always check what airport your flying into because your transport to your destination could be more than your flight.

There’s a reason they are so cheap and it’s just not worth it the risk.
1. Apparently online check in is required and if you do not check in online they charge you a RIDICULOUS fee of over $ 100. I don’t understand this policy. First off, for many days while abroad in London I did not have access to wifi. Secondly, even if I had there was no clear indication that this is a policy. I was told it’s in the fine print. 2. Front desk personnel at Stansted have a poor concept of customer service. I calmly tried to explain why I was not able to check in prior to arriving at the airport (two hours early mind you) and the front desk woman just became more and more unfriendly. Finally I told her ok go ahead and charge me. While she was typing in my credit card number I just calmly said that I don’t agree with this policy because it is not convenient for foreigners and she kept stopping her work to respond to me… so I said please continue to do your work I don’t want to miss my flight and she said I have to respond to your question and I said but I am not asking a question I am just expressing my concerns and she said well I have to respond to that and I said well you can respond and work at the same time and she got mad at that and said I refuse to serve you and left her post in a huff. Her co worker had to apologize to me and come and take my credit card. 3. We missed our flight because that was the morning after the Paris shootings and security was extra tight… when we got to the wing of Ryanair it was COMPLETELY EMPTY. Not a soul to help us. It was like a zombie apocalypse. Another girl was there and she found a maintenance man for the airport who told us we have to use a landline and call someone to come pick us up to take us back to the front. We call. We wait. The man drops us off at a midway point. We find a Ryanair desk there and try to book another flight. We are told if we checked bags we have to exit the area completely past security and re enter and oh there’s no way back (there is a train to take you from the main terminal) so you have to walk ALL the way back. We get back to the front. Get back on line. We are told because we had bags we have to go to another area, use a special landline and contact someone to bring down our bags. We are told to wait near security for flight personnel. This woman comes down and has us go through security only to just bring us around to baggage claim where our bags are. 4. Finally we are able to rebook new tickets and go through security for the third time but we don’t know which train to take for which terminal because they have this policy where you have to wait and watch the board for when the gate is announced and then you only have have like 15 minutes to get there for the boarding window or else you can’t fly.

… I swear to gosh, there must be some wager between Ryanair pilots on how high they can bounce the airplane on landing… of my last four Ryanair flights, we literally ricocheted off the tarmac. It’s like the entire company is playing a really high stakes game of airplane jacks.
But i’m not an overly nervous flyer, so besides all the momentary praying for ones life I encounter during each and every trip, I don’t mind Ryanair. Sure, the seats are cramped, the flights are always late and the staff are usually underwhelming at best… but I can fly to another city for under £50. Coming from the land of extraordinarily expensive travel (Canada), this is a gosh darn revelation. Plus, unlike some of the other budget airlines, Ryanair lets you bring a handbag AND a carry on, so I don’t spend the ten minutes before boarding trying to stuff one into the other.
If I had the means, I would happily travel on another airline and never, ever look back but so long as I’m counting pennies, Ryanair is a necessary and decently bearable evil.

The worlds greatest airline. Have we all forgotten how our national carrier (now sold to foreigners!) used to rip us off before Ryanair. Without Ryanair there would be no fun trips to far off places just because ! They don’t mislead you — you get what you pay for and that’s alright by me. Thank you team Ryanair and Michael O’Leary for building one of the worlds largest airlines out of our small North Atlantic island !!!

Ryanair, the company everyone loathes yet can’t keep away from. I myself have mixed feelings about Ryanair. On the one hand, they do very reasonably priced flights. On the other you really have to learn their routine as they make their money on the details. Now that being said like everyone else who has ever flown Ryanair I have a horror story or two about my experiences, but on the other hand I have had some amazing experiences with them as well. Usually, is all depends on the time of year and who is working. They are usually very friendly and extremely helpful when you fly out of Ireland. Other times not so much. Same on the returns. I flew to Reus recently and leaving Ireland was brilliant. My suitcase was a bit over the limit but they said no problem. Coming back however I was hit with a surcharge. On top of that due to my passport not being of Irish origin I had to get my ticket stamped coming and going. Leaving they happily did it while checking in my bag. On my return from Spain I waited in the queue for two hours only to be told they have a different system there, and was then forced to go queue in another part of the airport for another hour as they do not stamp at the Ryanair desk in the Reus airport like they do in Ireland, a fact that was never mentioned to me anywhere or at anytime. We also paid for priority boarding and flying over it was perfect, whereas flying back even though we and others had paid for this there was no priority boarding, it was all first come first served and we had to move people out of our pre-​booked seats when we did finally make it on the plane. So some good, some bad, but great prices so like everyone else we will complain but of course we will be back.

Had a horrible experience. They booked me for the wrong flight and wouldn’t change it. Never responded to my emails. Terrible customer service. Definitely will go with any other air lines next time. Save yourself the hassle and pay more for a reliable airlines.

the worst airline ever. my first time and i promise the last time as well.
they didn’t let me know the airport check in fee at the time of booking, a fee i’ve never ever heard of from any other airlines on this planet — i fly on average once every other weeks btw.
i was actually trying to print the boarding pass online in advance without knowing there is a fee by not doing that. however unfortunately, because i was an international traveler, the system didn’t allow me to enter the immigration related questions and the online check-​in was unsuccessful.
I complained this to the airline employee at the check in counter, and got very rude answers and ended up pay for their fault.

Honestly, the 5 stars says it all. You pay for what you get. Ryan air is an airline that tells you how it is. You bring 3 bags? you have to pay. if you dont get in line right away when boarding, they will make you check your bag. This is no surprise! People who complain are used to flying united or Aer Lingus with the extras added in. You know the prices are amazing when you can go to Madrid cheaper than i can go to the west of Ireland from Dublin by train.
Ryan air is so cheap because you are buying the most basic services. if you want to bring a load of bags, you can! You just have to pay for them which is fair when you look at how cheap your flights are.
They are one of the only airlines that actually does sales that are very impressive and they have a good business plan to keep costs down. It makes sense and I look forward to my next flight on Ryan Air.
My only negative is how much crap they try to sell you during the flight. Especially when you take a 6am flight and they dim the lights for take off, most airlines would allow the lights to stay dimmed or maybe turn a few aisle lights on, however, Ryan Air turns every single light on while they try to sell you stuff. I guess they figure the more lights on, the less likely we are to sleep!
Keep the cheap flights coming!

Put it simple — I like Ryanair! They currently offer € 9.99 Alicante — Paris rates (on selected days) and they are still having 2.5 stars on Unilocal???Are you kidding me? This is ridiculous and unfair!
There’s one simple trick to be a happy Ryanair customer: pay attention to details while buying tickets. That’s it. You will be ripped off for any of mistakes of your own. You will be fine if you understand their rules and follow them (You accept them when you buy the ticket btw).
Attention: don’t misspell your name, make sure your cabin bag is within their limits, print the boarding pass in advance etc. They will tell you all those things multiple times during the reservation process, and yet there will always be people who won’t notice and get screwed and unhappy.
The business model is simple — they do just ONE thing cheap — bring you from airport A to airport B without much luggage and without much service. Everything else — food, printing boarding passes, excessive luggage, changing flight dates is super expensive.
The planes are less convenient than «high cost» airlines. There’s less space in front of you. The only free service on board is toilet. Enjoy it while it is still free :)
You pay for food and drinks on board (time to lose weight?). Remember — you pay 9 € instead of € 200 — go dine in style on arrival :)
Quick tips for beginners:
— Make sure your cabin luggage is within their limits. They will check the size on boarding. They don’t check cabin bag weight (at least I never saw that)
— Try flying without check in luggage (probably won’t work for US tourists in Europe, works fine for short trips within Europe)
— Print your boarding pass yourself in advance
— Many airports are far from the destination city center, be prepared
— Try to avoid any changes in your reservation. They are expensive
— Use debit card instead of credit card when you pay online
— Read carefully all conditions and messages while buying tickets
— Assume there’s no customer service
— Beware — you can’t get much service for the prices you pay, don’t expect anything. If you like convenience and top service — don’t go with low cost, pay x3 elsewhere and enjoy :)
Positive:
— Personnel is friendly and polite
— They arrive on time. Ryanair is one of the most punctual airlines out there (probably because they avoid busy airports)
— They are safe despite low rates. Safer than Alitalia, Air France, American Airlines, Iberia, US Airways, Japan Airlines, SAS. Source:

I flew with Ryanair multiple times and I have problems only when those French air controllers go on strike again. You can’t blame the airline for that, the controllers are beyond their control :)
Extra tip: If you are reading this just before the boarding and you are not sure your bag will pass their cabin luggage gauge test — put all your clothes on, remove stuff from bag, put stuff into your pockets. Hurry up!

WHY DIDN’T I READ THESE REVIEWS SOONER???
Had I not almost accidentally wanted to review my itinerary, i wouldn’t have seen that I was charged 84 $ in FEES on a 54 $ ticket! They say that there is a fee to change the reservation, even weeks out, but at no time was I prompted to approve these fees.
I went on CHAT via the website, and «peter p» basically told me, after I requested that a manager make a decision since «peter» said he could not reverse fees, that «you’ll be receiving an email in 7 days from a representative». I protested that I leave the country in 7 days and that I needed a resolution sooner… he never answered.
I then called internationally and spoke to a slavic man who was nice enough, but whose manager bluntly refused any accommodation, any help, knowing I was a first time customer — and the attendant literally said, «next time buy business plus».
Why didn’t they offer to remove the fees, let’s say, and have me buy a business plus ticket on the spot?
There is NEVER a good excuse to treat any customer like this, especially one as respectful as I was during the whole process.
Of course, I have instructed my credit card to stop all payments to this atrocious airline, and I’ll be taking a bus, a car, a train, or the competition.
AWFUL, just awful way to treat a new and an eager customer!!!

If you go in knowing what to expect ahead of time, it’s not too bad. Not extraordinary, either. I was a first time user in October of this year & flew from Dublin to Liverpool & back. I booked online in advance & went for a Business Class ticket, so I wouldn’t have to deal with any extra fees for baggage & would be afforded a bit of time for priority boarding.
Unfortunately, on the way to Liverpool, because of a miscommunication, the time given to those of us for «priority boarding was eliminated, as passengers were all stuck in a dark stairwell as as a previous flight unloaded. I thought ‘things can happen,’ but on the way back to Dublin, priority boarding amounted to no more than a 10 second head start.
Travelers should make sure that they print their boarding passes & have them with them to avoid any extra charges & if not traveling Business Class, be mindful of the weight of your bags.
At just over 6’2,» I remember being too tall to stand on the plane, but the crew was nice. They only played the silly pre-​recorded music on landing one way (apparently only the sticklers do), & while they do sell lottery scratchers, it’s for charity. I didn’t opt for any food purchases.

Had an issue with Ryanair at the airport and ended up having to buy a «last minute ticket» for a ridiculous price (6 times the cost of the original ticket I had bought). The employees there were extremely rude and unhelpful, giving me incorrect information. There was one semi-​compassionate worker who told me to write in to customer service and tell them the whole story. After submitting a two-​page letter all I received was a cold, impersonal response with three lines saying they couldn’t do anything for me. Thank you for wasting both my time and my money, Ryanair, and for showing me the extent to which you don’t care about your loyal customers.

DO NOT buy flight tickets from this company.
I flew with Ryanair from ibiza to Barcelona and I must say it was one of my worst experiences with an airline. As a traveller, I’ve been to many countries (European, middle east, south and central America) and never came across such terrible and agressive people.
They will not give you an answer, sending you from one office to another to waste your time.
Do not buy from them, it seems cheap at first but will cost more with their hidden fees.
If you choose to fly with them, read the Terms and Conditions because they will use it against you to avoid any responsibilities.

DO NOT FLY WITH RYANAIR!
What a terrible company and a bunch of thieves. They will charge you extra for not booking your ticket in advance. They will lie to your face and try to get you to pay more than you have to. They will tell you they don’t accept cash when they actually do… And then taunt you with the fact they won’t give you your money back.
They will tell you to call customer service except. They don’t have a working number!
I implore you to avoid this company at all costs or you will end up paying for it through hidden fees.

Predatory airline!
I get the fees. They make sense to me. Charge for drinks baggage and all that. That makes sense. But I arrive at the airport 90 minutes before my flight and went to get a boarding pass and they are like boarding pass please. I say jokingly, you are the airline, I believe I should be asking you for a boarding pass. That quickly escalated into a very unpleasant situation.
They said I can’t board without a boarding pass and I can’t print one. The only way to board is to give them 90 euro to print the two passes. That’s just praying on young, poor, elderly or first timers. Basically they held me at ransom. I had to pay, no choice. I was livid. Absolutely livid.
Had it been like 10 euro and had they blasted me with a «print your boarding pass or else» email, I would even get it, they are streamlining. But this was Robbery at gun point, no two ways about it.
No way in hell I’m flying with thieves again. I’ll pay double just to not give them another dime.

BEWARE, PREDATORY AND MISLEADING BUSINESS PRACTICES. READ IF YOURE CONCERNED ABOUT WHY YOUR FLIGHT IS SO CHEAP.
I take no pleasure in writing any reviews, much less nasty ones, but Ryanair is especially deserving of public consumer feedback.
This is the poorest excuse for an airline imaginable. I booked a flight from Berlin to Madrid and paid the extra fee online for a checked bag. No problem. At 4 AM, 5 hours before my flight while I’m asleep, Ryanair sends an innocuous looking email stating that, because of a baggage worker strike, they could not check any luggage onto my flight. I have a massive bag with 4 bottles of scotch that I’m bringing home, so carrying on was not an option.
The women behind the ticket counter at Schönefeld were beyond rude and bounced me over to the equally as rude ticket counter women, who informed me that I had to call Ryanair directly to discuss a refund.
Called to ask for a refund to find that Ryanair has disconnected their international customer service number, and couldn’t get an answer from any regional number.
Beyond blatantly hiding the baggage worker strike from customers until it’s too late (also no mention of the strike on their website) they try to mislead you into believing that it is a general workers strike that they have no control over, even specifically saying they have no control in the email. THIS IS A LIE. ONLY the Ryanair baggage handlers are striking because the company is cutting their pay by 30% and firing most of them. Every other airline can get into Madrid with 0 issues because they’re legit companies.
I really and truly take no pleasure in writing nasty Unilocal reviews, but this was by far and away the worst experience I’ve had with a specific company. The saga ended with me spending 50 euros to take a cab to Tegel airport and booking an equally as cheap flight with AirBerlin several hours later. So much for saving money.

Always up for a challenge and an opportunity for amusement. – that’s me. :) When my French cousin told me about a ridiculously cheap Irish airline that flew all over Europe with the only catch being that passengers are only allowed one carry-​on, I knew there was a game in the making. Could I do it? Could I travel all over Europe for 2 weeks, with everything I own in one small bag? None of my friends thought I could! «Wait? Mel is actually going to wear a backpack?!»
No hitchhiking and staying in hostels for this lady, but flying to obscure airports with strange times and jumping from country to country for as low as $ 40 a ticket! Searching for months for the coolest backpack I could find, I planned with precision. The game was on!
This airline frequently has crazy cheap sales on tickets. They’re cheap every day but look for the specials! Also, know that you absolutely have to get there early or they’ll give away your seat. They also fly out of smaller airports. This means that if you want to get to or from the London area, you aren’t flying to Heathrow; you’re taking an hour train to or from Stansted Airport instead. Inconvenient, yes, but for a $ 40 ticket to Pisa, Italy, you get over your inconvenience.
These cheap tickets come at a price though. –the planes are not in good condition. I still laugh when I think of the part from the overhead bin that FELL OFF right in front of me as I sat waiting for take-​off. Ha! An off-​duty pilot jumped up, popped it back on and shrugged with his sexy Irish accent «Don’t worry, it’s as good as new!». Yikes! Not what I wanted to see! For a little bit more money, you can reserve seats, which effectively makes you a «first class» passenger. The seats aren’t any larger, nor are they more comfortable; you just get to sit in the section that is roped off at the front of the plane. –Worth the money to me to pick my seat, sit away from the crowds of people, and be able to get off quickly. «First class» had really not awarded me anything in the way of freebies though. — But it did award me ear shot seats of the flight attendants’ hilariously snarky comments about my fellow passengers! ;)
No beverages on these flights. Remember, this is a bare bones, no frills ticket. Instead, they go up and down the isle, selling duty free perfumes and lotto tickets.
While I can’t say I would try that again, I look back and laugh at the time I hopped from country to country on rundown airplanes, landing sometimes in the middle of nowhere… all while wearing all of my belongings on my back. – You have not lived until you have had to send your underwear out to be laundered at every hotel… and it comes back on hangers! :D A trip I will never forget and yet never repeat!
Try it. I dare you.

Ryanair — well, I was just at a conference where their Chief Marketing Officer told us all about the turnaround of a brand with a reputation for lackluster customer service and how they have been working hard over the past 18 months to get things going in a better direction.
Based on this — I really didn’t know what to expect — but my «business» fare was about $ 69 and that included my bag on board. The flight was Dublin to London– Gatwick a flight of about an hour.
Things I noticed:
— Seats very close together
— You don’t get to walk down a jetway — you walk outside, and up the stairs of the aircraft.
— There are no seat back pockets. There is a sticker on back of the seat in front of you giving you the safety demonstration.
— There isn’t a free beverage or snack on board.
— Checking your bag is not free — which is why the business ticket made sense for me.
The cabin crew was very polite and courteous (however the girl speaking over the PA system had a very thick accent and it made it very hard to understand)
I would not hesitate to fly them again in the future– certainly based on their value proposition. The CEO came to the USA and shadowed Southwest Airlines back in the day — and has rolled out a similar concept in Europe.

Bin oft mit denen geflogen, viele tolle Aufenthalte in GB, da war buchen noch einfach. Die Flugzeiten wurden auch gut eingehalten.
Habe jetzt zwei Stunden lang probiert, über verschiedenen Portale einen Flug für mehrere People zu buchen, ohne in eine der ganzen Fallen zu tappen, die in letzter Zeit so trickreich eingebaut wurden. Ich komme aber auf mehreren Ebenen nicht durch!
Doppel-​Name wird z. B. abgelehnt, gleichzeitig mit der Drohung, dass falls man ein Zeichen weglässt, noch ein Ticket nachlösen darf, obwohl man bereits eins in diesem verkomplizierten System erworben hat.
Wir haben schweres Outdoor-​Gepäck, 20 kg kosten je 35 EUR, alles i. O., ich kann es aber auf mehreren Seiten nicht buchen, sondern nur 15 kg. Dann kommen 20 EUR pro kg dazu, also mindestens 100 EUR p P. Wo soll man denn die Plünnen lassen? Viele andere Fluglinien bieten aber 20 kg von sich aus an, manche mehr.
Scherzkekse bei Ryan Air!
Dann noch das unzeitgemäße Theater mit dem Online-​Ticket. Wieso kann man nicht einfach eine elektronische Bordkarte aufs Fon bekommen wie bei Air France oder sich online einchecken ohne Papierausdruck wie bei Easyjet? (Weil das nichts zusätzlich kosten würde. psssssst.)
Buche jetzt schon aus Mentalitätsgründen woanders. Man muss ja auch prinzipiell Vertrauen zur Fluglinie haben können, also dass das gebuchte Ticket beim Rückflug ohne Probleme gültig ist. Auch bei einem schöngerechneten Billigflieger will man mit drei Klicks zum Ticket oder die Sache erübrigt sich. Hier beteiligt man sich unfreiwillig an einem Affentheater bzw. Buchungsbürokratismus, also sorry. Bin sonst eigentlich nachsichtig mit Fluglinien und besonders bei Kurzstrecken. :)
Da RA mit Handgepäck sehr günstig ist, gebe ich doch drei Sternchen. Zuviel Handgepäck kostet 30 GBP, weswegen in der Schlange oft Sachen bei Fremden eingesteckt werden. :D
PS: Habe jetzt bei den Skandis gebucht, Flug dauert nur länger, gleicher Preis, einfaches System, 23 kg Gepäck inkl., vier verschiedene Eincheckarten, auch über Mobilfon. So stell ich mir das vor.

Am 8.3. 2013 sind wir mit Ryanair ab Lübeck-​Blankensee geflogen nach Palma geflogen, am 15.3. wieder zurück.
Die Flugzeuge vom Typ Boeing 737 – 800 sind ganz modern, man fühlt sich da gut aufgehoben. Klar ist es in dien Billigfliegern etwas eng, dafür aber echt günstig.
Beim Hinflug gab es leider auch zu der Sicherheit nur englische Ansagen, nicht in Deutsch.
Beim Rückflug gab es diese Ansage dann richtigerweise auch in Deutsch.
Der Flugverlauf war aber jeweils optimal, da sind erfahrene Piloten am Steuerknüppel. Ganz toll, wie die Anflüge quasi im Segelflug mit Turbinen im Leerlauf (hier in Fuhlsbüttel ist das oft nicht der Fall) durchgeführt wurden. Das spart Kerosin und ist gut für die Umweltbilanz
Ankunft jeweils total pünktlich, auch das Gepäck war schnell da.
Außer den fehlenden Ansagen (der eine Punkt Abzug) auf Deutsch beim Hinflug gibt es nichts zu kritisieren. Wir würden jederzeit wieder mit Ryanair fliegen.

Als ausgeprägter Vielflieger kann ich über Ryanair nur das Schlechteste berichten. Ryanair rutscht von einem Prozess in den nächsten und die Verbraucherschützer laufen Sturm nur Ryanair lässt sich eine Unglaublichkeit nach der anderen einfallen. Nur um das gleich zu klären: Ich finde es eine gute Idee, wenn eine Fluglinie Kosten spart, wo sie kann, und auf zugegeben völlig unnötige Extras wie etwa Essen an Bord verzichtet. Nicht verzeihlich sind aber die Tricks und Fallen, die angewendet und aufgestellt werden. Allen voran sei hier die Frechheit der Bordkarten erwähnt, die man keine zwei Wochen vor Abflugdatum und auch keine vier Stunden vor Abflug mehr ausdrucken kann aber muss. Dass die Druckseite der Bordkarten auf den meisten Browsern auch nicht funktioniert und die Seite übersetzt und geschrieben ist wie von einem Achtjährigen (das gilt kurioserweise auch für die englischsprachige Seite), ist nur ein weiterer Fallstrick. Es ist offensichtlich, dass hier klar damit kalkuliert wird, dass Leute es nicht rechtzeitig schaffen, die Bordkarte auszudrucken. Diese Hürden mögen überwindbar sein für die, die sich Stunden Zeit nehmen können zur Vorbereitung eines Fluges (insofern ist obiger arroganter Kommentar, dass derjenige, der lesen könne klar im Vorteil sei, unangemessen; außerdem kann ich mir kaum verkneifen anzumerken, dass auch die im Vorteil sind, die schreiben können). Für Vielflieger mit knappen Zeitplänen, oder Kundinnen und Kunden, die von Hotels aus starten, sind die Hindernisse absichtlich un zynisch kaum überwindbar. Zuletzt ist Ryanair gar nicht so günstig, wie gerne suggeriert wird das gilt nur, wenn man früh bucht. Der zynisch kalkulierte Anstieg der Preise in Nähe des Abflugdatums beträgt gerne über 1000 Prozent. Dann ist es aber für das gleiche Ziel nicht einfach, mit seriöseren Fluglinien zu fliegen, weil die auf bestimmten Strecken wegen Ryanair bereits vom Markt gedrängt sind.

Das erst mal mit Ryanair unterwegs und irgendwie war mir etwas bange, nach sovielen Gerüchten, die iuch über diese Fluglinie gehört hatte.
Nach unseren Flügen kann ich jedem nur empfehlen mit Ryanair zu fliegen.
Wir hatten null Verspätung, nette Flugbegleiter, ausreichend Sitzabstand im Flieger etc.
Sicher muss man den übliochen Standard mit kostenlosen Getränken etc. abziehen, aber das weiss man wohl vorher wenn man dort bucht.
Wer aber was essen und trinken wollte, hatte eine vernünftige Auswahl beim Speisenangebot.
Etwas nervig ist dann aber, dass die Flugbegleiter dreimal durch den Flieger gehen um Lose, rauchfreie Zigaretten und Telefonkarten zu verhökern. Da bei uns zumindest null Interesse daran bestand, will ich hoffen, dass sich sowas bald von selbst erledigt.
Einen Stern ziehe ich ab, weil die Angebotspreise sich dann bei Der Buchung plötzlich noch mal um die Kreditkartenservicegebühr pro Flug um 5 Euro erhöhen. Das ist nicht die feine Art.
Wir werden sicher wieder mit Ryanair fliegen.

— La ponctualité n’est vraiment pas au rdv: le dernier voyage que j’ai fait était un Paris-​Bari avec 2 heures de retard à l’aller et une bonne heure de retard au retour
— Si vous emportez un bagage, vous payez en plus, pour avoir un verre d’eau à bord, vous payez en plus (rappel: on né peut plus amener d’eau pour passer les contrôles de sécurité et Ryan Air est souvent en retard… cf ci-​dessus)
— On né peut pas qualifier le service à bord d’aimable (ex: cogné plusieurs fois au genou, qui j’avoue trainait dans le couloir pour cause de grandes jambes, par le chariot qui doit véhiculer le plus vite possible pour vendre le plus, aucune excuse du personnel)
— Aucune tolérance sur le dépassement de poids du bagage en soute: 15 kg maxi, 20 EUR par kilo de plus (ou il faut se débrouiller pour réduire le poids de son bagage)
Bref: j’avais déjà emprunté cette companie il y a quelques années pour aller en Irlande et en Ecosse, l’état d’esprit était alors bien meilleur, en clair tout s’est dégradé. Je né suis pas sûr d’avoir envie de partir avec eux une nouvelle fois…

Am 16.04.10 wollte ich mit Ryanair nach Memmingen fliegen, dass aber wurde durch das Flufverbot nichts.
Ok, das lag nicht an Ryanair.
Was ich nun bemängele, sind einmal, dass Raynair es nicht für nötig hielt mich über e. Mail zu unterrichten ob der Flug annulliert wird oder nicht.
Keinerlei Hinweis in der verwirrenden Hompage.
Nach meiner Rückkehr mit der DB versuchte ich eine Rückvergütung zu beantragen. Keine Möglichkeit in der Hompage.
Der Versuch mich telefonisch bemerkbar zu machen, endete in der Warteschleife zu 1,86 EUR je/​Min. Nach 10 minuten und weiteren Kosten von 18,60 EUR gab ich auf und stellte meine Forderung schriftlich an die Dubliner Adresse. Auf die Antwort bin ich gespannt.
Es ist eine super große «Schweinerei» aus der Not Ihrer Kunden mit derart überzogenen Telefongebühren Kapital zu schlagen.
Sehr schlechter Service und Abzocke in allen ihren ANgeboten.
Nie wieder Ryanair.

Kein Wunder, daß das Internet voll ist mit hasserfüllten Beiträgen über Ryanair. Dem kann ich mich jetzt nur noch anschließen! Einmal und nie wieder! Schon bei der Buchung über Ryanairs komplett undurchschaubare Internet-​Seite, überkommt einem das Gefühl, man wird hier an jeder Ecke betrogen. Da entpuppt sich plötzlich ein 10 EUR Flug aufgrund von zig Phantasiegebühren als 200 EUR Reise. Das ist immer noch billig, ohne Frage, aber es kann noch viel viel mehr werden!
Drei Tage vor Weihnachten wollte ich zurück von London Stansted nach Hamburg fliegen. Da die Engländer komplett überfordert sind, sobald etwas Schnee vom Himmel fällt, brach das totale Chaos aus. Ryanair hat peu a peu alle Flüge gestrichen. Durchsagen gab es keine. Man hat es nur über Nachfragen erfahren! Dann hieß es, man solle sich an den Ryanair-​Ticket-​Desk in der Halle wenden. Dort standen einige Tausend (!) Leute, die von 2(!) völlig überforderten Mitarbeitern bedient wurden.
Der Hammer war dann die Durchsage: «Gehen sie doch bitte nach Hause und buchen sie über das Internet einen neuen Flug oder gehen sie an einen Internet PC im Flughafen». Wie bitte? Geht’s noch? Weitere Durchsagen gab es nicht. Dafür gab es plötzlich jede Menge Polizisten, die martialisch bestückt mit Maschinengewehren dafür sorgten, daß die Menge nicht ausrastete. Es gab keine Informationen, wie es weitergehen sollte. Nach mehreren Stunden in der Schlange, die überhaupt nicht voran ging, bin ich entnervt in ein Hotel gefahren, um von dort selbständig einen Ausweichflug 2 Tage später nach Bremen zu buchen. Das kostete mich knappe 280 Pfund! Geld, das Ryanair nicht erstattet!
Aber ein Glück, daß das noch geklappt hat! Ansonsten hätte ich Weihnachten in Stansted verbringen dürfen. Von anderen habe ich noch viel schaurigere Geschichten gehört. Eine Dame stand mehr als 12 Stunden in der Schlange! Es spielten sich dramatische Szemem ab. Ein Großteil der Passagiere kampierte im Flughafen. Es sah aus wie in einem US-​Katastrophenfilm. Mütter mit ihren schreienden Kindern wurden völlig alleingelassen. Niemand hat sich um die Leute gekümmert. In Deutschland wäre dergleichen undenkbar! So wurden in Frankfurt Feldbetten aufgestellt, die wartenden Passagiere wurden mit warmen Getränken versorgt und Hotelgutscheine verteilt.
Ein Flughafenangestellter sagte mir, daß diese Zustände typisch sind für Ryanair. Das wäre nichts Besonderes. Fazit: Das war das erste und letzte Mal Rynair. Wie sagte jemand im Internet: «Mit Rynair reisen ist wie russisches Roulette»

ganz ehrlich, dieses ganze beschweren über versteckte gebühren etc. wird langsam zur gewohnheit. bei ryanair bzw. beim buchen gilt: wer lesen kann ist klar im vorteil. fakt ist doch: alle gebühren die noch oben drauf kommen können (ja das sind einige, ich weiß) werden auch angezeigt! natürlich ärgere ich mich auch über 6 euro kreditkartengebühr. aber die steht dort BEVOR man abschlißt, genau wie alle anderen gebühren auch. auch die tatsache das man sein ticket ausdrucken muss (find ich sehr praktisch) wird dort erklärt. wir sind für 61euro pro person (inkl aller gebühren) von bremen nach malaga u zurück geflogen. mit handgepäck :)

In den letzten 2 Wochen habe ich insgesamt 5 Flüge mit Ryanair gemacht und ich bin sehr angenehm und positiv überrascht!
Habe alle Flüge sehr günstig gebucht und z.B. für einen Hin– und Rückflug von Memmingen nach Dublin 12.- Euro bezahlt (keine weiteren Kosten!) — gebucht ca. 7 Wochen vor Flugdatum.
Abwicklung war absolut problemlos, man muss einfach die Bedingungen kennen. So bin ich z.B. nur mit Handgepäck (max. 10 kg) geflogen.
Gepäck muss ebenfalls vorher angemeldet werden und kostet pro Strecke nochmal 10.- Euro (ist übrigens auch bei einigen anderen Billig-​Airlines üblich!).
Ganz wichtig ist natürlich der Ausdruck der Bordkarte (am besten nicht in der letzten Minute, falls es Probleme gibt).
Der Flieger war sauber, die Maschine war total pünktlich.
Es gibt bei Ryanair keinerlei kostenlose Verpflegung, aber bei einem innereuropäischem Flug läßt sich das gut aushalten. Wer dennoch von Hunger/​Durst geplagt wird, kann natürlich an Bord Verpflegung kaufen.
Wenn man Angebote nützt und die Hinweise der Fluggesellschaft liest, kann man hier wirklich sehr günstig fliegen.
Ich kenne durchaus mehrere Fluggesellschaften und bin in den letzten Jahren mehrmals auf Langstrecke in First Class geflogen, weiß also durchaus was Service bedeutet — trotzdem habe ich mich bei Ryanair sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt!
Werde sicher noch öfter mit Ryanair unterwegs sein.

meine reise ging von lübeck nach mallorca und ich muss ehrlich gestehen; es hat soweit alles reibungslos geklappt!
dass man sich bei der online buchung vorher genauestens preise vergleicht und sich auch ALLES akribisch genau und möglichst 3fach durchliest, ist wohl ein selbstgänger. da ich nur 6 tage unterwegs war, reichte es für mich — auch als frau ;-) mit einem gepäckstück von MAX 15kg (!) und 1 handgepäck von max 10 kg zu reisen. aber vorsicht, man sollte keine kulanz erwarten, hier wird auf jedes gramm geachtet, denn darauf spekulieren und daran verdienen sie!
fangen wir beim flughafen shuttle an: die busabfahrt ab dem zob hamburg ist einfach zu finden, alles ist prima mit zeiten und entspr. flügen ausgeschildert. ich hatte mir im internet die genauen zeiten ausgedruckt und für die einfache fahrt zahlt man gerade mal 9EUR. das ist mit dem auto wohl kaum zu toppen, zumal man dann die parkgebühren auch rechnen muss. die fahrt dauert 1 std. und der bus hält direkt vor dem terminal des mini-​flughafens. ein kiosk, ein restaurant und der check-​in, mehr braucht man auch nicht.
das bodenpersonal ist auch freundlich und hilfsbereit, an bord wird man nicht mit außergewöhnlicher freundlichkeit verwöhnt, aber alles im rahmen. hier gilt das prinzip freie platzwahl getreu dem motto: first come-​first serve. aber warum man nicht in den ersten reihen sitzen darf, auch wenn diese während des fluges leer bleiben, bleibt mir ein rätsel. ausnahmen gibts wohl nur für die, die extra für das 1^st boarding bezahlt haben.
hat man erst einmal seinen platz in der gefühlten legebatterie gefunden (insbesondere große und/​oder korpulente passagiere tun mir leid), wird zumindest gegen viel geld (sandwich/​baguette min. 5EUR, keine kalt-​/​heißgetränke unter 1,80EUR — KLEINE dosen! serviert. ebenfalls klassicher verkauf v. zigaretten, parfüm, etc. wird hier angeboten, die preise sind wohl eher standard.
fazit: wer mit wenig gepäck reist und einen günstigen flug vor allem nach palma ergattert (da es nur einen flughafen auf mallorca gibt, läuft man hier jedenfalls nicht gefahr, stunden später mit bus und/​oder bahn ins zentrum fahren zu müssen.), dem kann ich ryan air inkl. shuttle durchaus empfehlen. aber wie gesagt: die bestimmungen genauestens einhalten, dann kann nichts schief gehen. ich wünsche eine gute reise!

Ryanair Billige Abzocke beim Flug nach Dublin. Die Flugpreise ab Weeze nach Dublin sind schon verlockend wenn man liest das man für EUR 15, hin und zurück ab Weeze fliegen kann. Allerding nur bei Online Check In den ich dann auch dachte getätigt zu haben als ich den Flug übers Netzt buchte und bezahlte. Doch die Freude über den günstigen Preis wähnte nicht lange schon beim Einbuchen am Schalter ging es mir wie vielen anderen, wie ich am Schalter feststellen konnte. Online buchen heißt auch das man sich online das Ticket ausdrucken muss. Hierauf wird man aber nirgends hingewiesen. Man bekommt zwar eine Mail in Englisch ca. 6 Tage vor Abflug aber man wird nicht darauf hingewiesen das man das Ticket ausdrucken muss sondern nur das man das kann. So stand ich nun ohne Ausdruck da und hatte auch keine Chance in Dublin ein Ticket auszudrucken. Das macht dann EUR 80,00 sprich EUR 40,00 pro Strecke! Mehr als Unverschämt aber die Dame am Service Schalter vom Flughafen Weeze schien Kummer, Ärgerliche Kunden und Beschimpfungen gewöhnt. Letztlich fand sie das auch nicht gut aber es ist halt ihr Job dann die Abzockergebühr zu kassieren. Abso absolutes No Go. Ich hoffe der Tip hilft vielen anderen die Nachzockegebühren sind unverschämpt und dreist. Beste Grüße cfeberg der in Zukunft noch genauer hinschaut und alle Airlines vergleicht dann lieber mehr zahlt als mit Ryanair zu fliegen.

Es una compañia de low cost de origen irlandés. Ofrece una gran variedad de destinos a muy bajos precios, sobre todo si se aprovechan las ofertas que sacan periodicamente puedes llegar a volar por 1 € el trayecto.
Eso si, tienes que pagar por cada maleta que desees facturar (pagando un exceso de equipaje en caso de sobrepasar el peso máximo); si deseas entrada prioritaria en el avión (ya que los asientos no son numerados, sino que cada uno se sienta según va entrando; si deseas el seguro de cancelacion. y mucho ojo al pagar! que según con la tarjeta que se pague te cobran un recargo mayor o menor!
Yo he volado en varias ocasiones con ellos y a veces parece que te tratan como ganado, ya que las azafatas te meten mucha prisa para subir al avion y sentar a toda la gente eso sí, con ellos nunca he llegado tarde (a pesar d haber salido con algo de retraso).

Gut gesponsert z.B. durch die Stadt Lübeck, welche bei jedem Passagier zuzahlen muß. Kein schlechtes Konzept, gönnt man den Stadtkämmerern hier und da mal ein paar hübsche Stunden in der Karibik mit goldbraunen Häschen für die Kurzweile, dann ließe sich der kleine Obolus gewiss in hemisphärische Deckungsgrößen per Kavalierstart empordriften.
Dem ollen Fluggast kann man ja né Tafel Schokolade und nen Frisby mit Ryanemblem in die Hand drücken damit er statistisch vom Subventionsfonds erfasst wird.
Schämen wegen staatlicher Beihilfen? Wie? Quatsch, bei den Kerosinpreisen heutzutage und überhaupt.
Ab und zu müssen natürlich auch Linienflieger tatsächlich und ganz gewiss aus hochwichtigen Gründen nach Panama, Limirick
oder Loch Ness düsen, damit das Spesenbudget im nächsten Jahr nicht gekürzt wird.
Tja, in diesem Fall gibts statt nen Frisby höchstens nen Bumerang und né Kaugummi zum Festkleben in der Wartelounge.

Beim Stöbern nach Flügen innerhalb Europas bin ich im letzten jahr immer besser bei traditionellen Luftlinien ebdient worden: Lufthansa hat prima Tarife für Städteflügeund ich weiss genau, wieviel ich zahlen muss! KEINE versteckten Kosten! Oder auch mit berlinair hat man keine derartigen Überraschungen. Die Frechheit bei ryanair ist doch wirklich, dass man für das Einchecken des Koffers extra zahlen muss. Wo gibt’s denn sowas??? Für mich ist klar: nach der anfänglich wirklich billigen Zeit von rayanair-​Flügen (jajaauch ich habe sie damals genutzt!!) ist das leider jetzt vorbei und vorbei. ryanair bietet wirklich nicht mehr Billigflüge… ganz im Gegenteil! Wenn man die Anfahrtkosten zu den kleinen Flughäfen ausserhalb dazurechnet, dann ist es umso teurer.

Ich möchte hier einfach mal meine Frust loswerden.
Ich bin früher oft mit Ryanair nach London geflogen, da mein Freund dort zeitweise gearbeitet hat. Anfangs war ich wirklich begeistert. Es gibt ja diesen niedlichen kleinen Flughafen in Altenburg, der ist in reichlich einer Stunde Fahrtzeit erreichbar.
Flüge habe ich schon für 30 Euro pro Strecke bekommen. Gut, je kurzfristiger man gebucht hat, desto teurer wurde der Flug. Auch in Ferienzeiten und zu Feiertagen ist es oft teurer. Aber das ist ja ok. Ich fand es echt super, innerhalb einer Stunde in London Stansted zu sein. Mein Freund wohnte eh im Norden von London und dorthin gab es eine prima und für Londoner Verhätlnisse auch günstige Busverbindung (Terravision). Also alles perfekt. Bis, ja, bis Ryanair anfangs ganz versteckt, später immer unverschämter und offensichtlicher Gebühren für so ziemlich alles erhoben hat.
Angefangen hat es mit Parkgebühren. Früher war der Parkplatz in Altenburg Gebührenfrei. Jetzt kostet er 7 Euro pro Tag. Jeder angefangene Tag wird berechnet!!! Wenn man da ein verlängertes Wochenende (Fr-​Mo) plant, kommen also noch mal 28 Euro dazu. Weiter geht’s mit den Gebühren für das Einchecken. Es ist nur noch kostenfrei, wenn man über das Internet eincheckt. Das funktioniert aber nur, wenn man kein Gepäck aufgibt. Sobald man Gepäck aufgibt, zahlt man nicht nur zusätzliche Gebühren für das Gepäck sondern eben noch die Eincheckgebühren (momentan liegen die bei ca. 30 Euro je Gepäckstück). Neben den normalen Flughafensteuern und Gebühren können sich so die Kosten für ein Ticket locker verdreifachen.
Während des Fluges wird man dann ständig beschallt, es wird Werbung für Getränke, Essen, Bordverkauf, Lotterielose gemacht.
Mit alle dem habe ich mich sogar abgefunden und dachte, naja, irgendwie müssen die sich ja auch rentieren und Geld verdienen. Dann habe ich einen 200 Euro Gutschein von meinen Eltern für Ryanair geschenkt bekommen. Der Gutschein bestand nur aus einem Code, den man beim Buchen eingeben kann. Meine Eltern haben den Gutschein natürlich im Internet gekauft und den Code per Mail geschickt bekommen. Den haben Sie mir dann nett auf eine Karte gemalt und geschenkt.
Gerade zu dieser Zeit hat mein Freund aber sein Arbeitsverhältnis in London beendet, so dass der Gutschein für diesen Zweck nicht nötig war. Ist ja aber kein Beinbruch, da ich gern Städtereisen unternehme und Ryanair ja auch jede Menge anderer interessanter Ziele hat. (Zwar nicht unbedingt von Altenburg, aber Frankfurt Hahn ist ja auch nicht aus der Welt)
Naja, wie das so ist, blieb der Gutschein erst mal eine Weile liegen. 14 Monate nach Erhalt des Gutscheines haben wir uns einen Flug ausgesucht und wollten diesen buchen. Der Gutscheincode wurde aber nicht angenommen.
Da wir uns das nicht erklären konnten, haben wir die Hotline angerufen. Dort haben wir dann die Auskunft erhalten, das Gutscheine bei Ryanair nur ein Jahr gültig sind. Auch wenn in Deutschland Gutscheine gesetzlich mindestens 2 Jahre gültig sein müssen, hat das in diesem Fall nichts zu sagen, da Ryanair eine irische Fluggesellschaft ist. Ich habe mich so geärgert. 200 Euro in den Sand gesetzt!!! Auch nach mehreren Telefonaten mit der Hotline gab es keinerlei Entgegenkommen oder Einlenken.
Seit dem bin ich nie wieder mit Ryanair geflogen. Wenn man lange genug stöbert und plant, findet man auch andere günstige Fluglinien. Die haben oft auch nicht so viele versteckte Gebühren. Und bei British Airways oder Air Berlin gibt’s sogar noch was zu Essen während des Fluges :-)

Das einzige was nicht so planmäßig war, war der rückflug im letzten jahr !! Wir saßen im Warteraum ca zwei stunden vor dem Planmäßigen Abflug und dann kam die durchsage Flug verspätet sich um 3 Stunden !! Natürlich hoch erfreut über die Nachricht machten wir es und dann bequem im Café des Kerry Airports. nach einer Stunde dann eine durchsage das der Flieger nur 45 min verspätung hätte. Gut dachte ich mir ist doch eine positiv nachricht. Nur eine halbe stunde später wurde der Wartesaal ins zum Boarding eröffnet. (halbe Stunde vor dem Planmäßigen Abflug) okay der flieger Landete dann zum geplanten Abflug Termin. Wie Ryanair ist ging der rest dann ziemlich schnell. Standzeit der Ryanair Boing in Kerry 25min =)
Am Ende vom lied waren wir 10 früher in Hahn als die Planmäßige ankunfst Zeit es angab. Flugzeit 85 min. normalerweise 1:55 bis 2h !!
Mein Tip zum Thema Ryanair:
Alles bis ins Detail im voraus rechtzeitig Planen und flexibilität im Reisedatum haben dann bekommt ihr euren billig flug !! und dann gibt es keine Fluggesellschaft die mit der Ryanair mithalten kann.
Wenn Sie kurzfristig (innerhalb 7 – 14 Tage) buchen müssen ist Ryanair nur im Glücksfall günstig.

ca 3 – 6 Monate vorher fluftermin Preis fällt und wird low Cost angeboten.
2 – 3 monate vorher preis steigt weil die Low Cost plätze in der Regel vergriffen sind und die anfrage steigt.
1 Monate vorher je nach vergriffenen plätzen haben wir Preisschwankung von 0,01 Cent bis 259,– Euro je Flug !!
Richtig Teuer wird es wenn man an einem Feiertag wegfliegen möchte !!
aber wie gesagt !! Wer über Ostern 4 Tage kurzfristig in Urlaub fliegen möchte kann sich im regelfall den flug von 200,– Euro leisten.

Nachdem ich nun sicher sicher und ohne Probleme von meiner letzten Reise zurück bin, überarbeitete ich diesen Artikel noch einmal und gab einem Stern mehr als ursprünglich. Grund dafür ist vor allem das sehr freundliche Personal, das sich diesmal wirklich toll verhalten hat und meine Reise selbst fast perfekt verlief.
Davor war ich jedoch alles andere als begeistert und bereute es schon wieder einen Flug mit Ryanair gebucht zu haben. Mit kaum Geld und der Notwendigkeit möglichst nahe und kurzfristig in meine Heimat zu fliegen, schien mir Ryanair am sinnvollsten. Der Grund für meine Heimreise war ein Bänderriss, der es mir hier erschwerte etwas zu tun. Dabei hatte ich nicht bedacht, dass ich nicht nur zum Flughafen, sondern auch zum Gate gelangen muss, mit zwei Krücken und ein wenig Gepäck. Vermutlich jede andere Hotline bietet für solche Fälle einen Service an, so auch Ryanair. Für maximal vier eingeschränkte Fluggäste pro Flug gibt es diesen Service. Gebucht werden sollte dieser Service am Tag der Buchung über eine Hotline, die man jedoch nicht erreichen kann. Kein Wunder, denn es handelt sich bei dieser Nummer (für Flüge von Irland) um eine Nummer, die für alle Anfragen von der Buchung bis zur Stornierung gewählt werden kann. Wie alles zusätzliche bei Ryanair ist diese Nummer unglaublich teuer. Auf der Website wird kein genauer Preis angegeben, man nennt es National Rate und mein Handyguthaben war schnell leer. Mein Freund versuchte es auch einmal, legte dann auf, als ihm Kosten von 1,75 pro Minute genannt wurden. Ich glaube für Deutschland gibt es für solche Fälle jedoch auch eine 0180 Nummer, die hat mir hier jedoch nicht viel gebracht.
Auch davor waren meine Erfahrungen mit Ryanair nicht so gut. Versteckte Kosten, Verspätungen nehme ich schon gar nicht mehr ernst. Was mich jedoch störte, ist dieser nicht vorhandene Service bei jeder Art von Problemen.
Für die Weihnachtsferien hatten mein Freund und ich Hin– und Rückflüge von Dublin nach Deutschland gebucht. Für mich selbst buchte ich später jedoch einen neuen Hinflug, da ich arbeiten musste.
Mein Freund fuhr deshalb alleine zum Flughafen und erlebte dort sein blaues Wunder. Ihm wurde mitgeteilt, dass er sich nicht auf der Passagierliste des Fluges befindet. Später stellte sich heraus, dass es Probleme bei der Kartenzahlung gegeben hatte. Somit alles sein Schuld, da er die falsche Karte verwendet hatte. Die Tatsche, dass er eine Bestätigungsnummer und eine Bestätigungsemail erhalten hatte und nie über irgendwelche Zahlungsschwierigkeiten informiert wurde, interessierte keinen. Nach einigen Gesprächen, bot man ihm an, doch nun den Flug zu bezahlen, bis dies jedoch möglich gewesen wäre, war sein Flug weg. Anschließend wurde ihm großzügigerweise ein Flug für den nächsten Tag angeboten, nach Frankfurt Hahn anstatt nach Baden-​Baden für 200 Euro und Rückflüge hätten wir damit auch noch nicht gehabt. Ich versuchte in der zwischen Zeit die Hotline zu erreichen. Die Nummer der deutschen Hotline konnte verständlicherweise bei Kosten von 62 Cent pro Minute von der Arbeit nicht erreichen. Bei der irischen Hotline versuchte ich es 25 Minuten lang und bekam keinen Ansprechpartner, hörte mir stattdessen Werbung für Hertz Mietwägen an.
Am Ende buchte ich einen neuen Hinflug für meinen Freund. Dadurch konnte er leider erst zwei Tage später nach Deutschland fliegen. Wir buchten zwei neue Rückflüge einen Tag später als geplant, dehalb musste mein Freund seine Firma anrufen und mitteilen, dass er in Deutschland festsitzt, weil der Tag davor inzwischen ausgebucht war und ein alternativer Flughafen wie Friedrichshafen so früh nicht mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln erreichbar war. Am Ende war unsere Reise nicht viel teuer, auch deshalb, da ich für mich einen zusätzlichen Hinflug gebucht hatte. Es war eine Menge Aufregung und Ärger. In meinen nächsten Weihnachtsferien werde ich vermutlich nicht mehr mit Ryanair fliegen. Zu gross ist mir da das Risiko nicht nach Hause zu kommen oder ein Vermögen zahlen zu müssen und dadurch alles andere als einen billigen Flug zu haben.
