Disappointing! I have been in this place twice — once during the day for a meal and once on a Thursday evening for a few pints. I really wanted to like the place — it’s fairly clean and modern inside and billed as a Bar & Organic Kitchen I was looking forward to being impressed. Firstly the kitchen — the food at lunchtime came late despite us being one of two tables being used in the restaurant. When it did come it was very uninspired and largely tasteless. I know they are branded as organic, but surely to God salt and pepper are organic — they should try using some in the cooking process! Bland is the name of the game here unfortunately. Three of us ordered three different meals and had the same blank looks on out faces by the end of it. This place was open 6 months by the time I ate in it so they passed the«it’s new so I’ll let them away with it» thoughts. Secondly the bar — came in with two mates to watch the football one night in May thinking that with the number of screens it would be a good sports bar. The staff were grand, the place was clean enough and the service was quick, but the clientèle fell into two categories: 1) Absolute scumbags 2) People who had wandered into the bar thinking it was a good sports bar and trying desperately to think of a reason to leave at half-time! Hungry in Dundrum? There are a plethora of other excellent places to eat. Try them. Thirsty in Dundrum? A few tins of Dutch Gold on the corner will attract a classier crowd!

So i had lunch in here yesterday, i had only gotten as far as having a drink last time. I have to say that the bread they use in here is scrumptious! its like a tomato and fennelbread i think, my boyfriend gotit with his soup and my sandwich was made with it. so so tasty and fresh, it says that its the chefs own bread so hemust makeit on site, i think they should sell it to take home! for a pub i was disappointed that they didnt do toasty sandwiches(if anyone was in dundrum yesterday you will know how wet and windy and freezing it was, really toastie sandwich weather!) and that bread would be divine if it was toasted with some nice cheese! also my boyfriends soup was a bit cold for his liking. As i said before though this place is only new so i will give them time to get more set up before these things start to really annoy me!
