Hmmm… A little disappointed with pickles! I did a bit of research, keen to find a nice lunch spot for a midweek treat and pickles was my choice. The venue is very cramped/​poorly designed. There were no tables available, and it is difficult to stay out of the way of other diners while waiting. My main grievance was with the female member of staff who served me. She was stern and clearly short of patience. When paying (ultimately I took a takeaway) she threw my change at me in such a way that it fell on the floor (again, under one of the other diners tables!!) and didn’t even acknowledge same — turning her back immediately. Unpleasant and needless.
That said, the salads are fresh and tasty. And, the carrot cake was moist, with just enough delicious cream cheese icing on top.

Absolutley great local find. Breakfast and sandwiches always fresh and very tasty and the baked goodies are gorgeous.
Great coffee and if you catch some rare nice weather it’s lovely to sit outside.
Only complaint is it’s so small you won’t always get a table but if I’m getting sandwiches for us it’s always to takeaway so I don’t mind waiting when they are busy as the food is worth it.

Nice staff. The place dirty and you could not focus on conversation (steamed windows, not swapped floor, filthy door mat, steam and finger prints on windows,). Inside you might feel bit squashed but outside theres a lot of tables. The door was half open and the was a draft coming in. We order goat cheese sandwich which was quite nice and BLT with non gluten bread which was good but I was tiny.
We liked cappuccino.

This is a gem of a Coffe Shop /​Deli.
Undoubtedly the best coffee this suburb of Dublin.
They serve great fresh cut sandwiches on home baked bread.
Good value cooked breakfasts and weekend Eggs Benedict to blow away the cobwebs.
A «never knew it was there» kind of place.
