Firstly, the exterior is so cute, I couldn’t help but go in! The inside is decorated beautifully and just has a really nice atmosphere! The matcha latte is absolutely divine here and the cakes are just as good~! The music is nice and it’s such a quiet spot! Staff too are really kind any time I have been!

I’ve heard lots of recommendations of their Mocha Latte, finally got chance to try it on a Christmas shopping day. The place is not easy to find, but thanks to Google Map :) It’s a cute little shop, well decorated, there were lots of people but not noisy at all. I love the green tea latte and will definitely com back again.

Love is art atelier! One of my favourite café’s in the city! amazing little gem. There is no other place in the city who sells as good of a Matcha latte as they do here! and their green tea cheesecake is to die for! I keep coming here just for that! The place is pretty small, and the items on the menu might be slightly pricey but the quality is just superb and done with so much love that it’s unbeatable, and definitely worth it! Proper art at love is art atelier. Beautifully designed little café with so much charm! Even though the place is small, I have never had problem finding a seat here. Love, love, love and will keep coming back!

Love is art, what an amazing little café! It ain’t what it looks like. The furniture seems to have been bought in a hundred different flea markets and this is one of the things that make this place so special. You need to try the Blueberry cheesecake and of course the chocolate cake., to die for! If you’re in Dublin, don’t miss the opportunity to try it!

So this is what happened: I walk up Capel St and see the sign for Love is Art Atelier and think ‘yeah, I’ll try a take away coffee’. So I walk over, step in and oooooh, it’s so pretty! I don’t know where to look first. But then, then I spot the cakes and decide to stay for a bit. So I order my Americano at the counter and a piece of crème fraîche grapefruit tart. I sink into one of the comfy couches and the soothing jazz they play makes me feel instantly relaxed. I congratulate in myself on my good decision to hang out here for a while. The coffee was good and the cake was… well too small. It was fresh and light and I could have easily eaten another slice but at 4.70Euro a piece, which is in all honesty way too expensive for what and where it is, that wasn’t going to happen. So 4 solid stars, could have been 5 if the cakes weren’t overpriced.

I absolutely loved this little café! The interior is like a fairytale; I’d say it’s one of this hidden coffee shop gems that’s definitely worth a visit! It has a very homely welcoming feel to it, kind of like an arty living room with a very unique décor. They have nice couches to relax as well. The menu is basically the usual coffees and teas, matcha latte and a variety of mouth-wateringly prepared cakes! Everything is served in English tea set crockery(I found the cups really cute!) and presented well. The coffee is great, I’d put in as one of my top 10 coffee shop favourites, especially if your looking for a place to sit down for a while. I really enjoyed the Americano here. The prices are pretty similar to most coffee shops(2.80~3.50), and they charge an extra 30 cent for soya milk. There’s also a nice selection of books. Besides books in English, half the shelf consisted of Korean books(which I unfortunately don’t understand) and Japanese learner’s and kanji text books. I study Japanese so it was fun to look through them although most are beginner level. The only thing I didn’t like was that it’s pretty small inside and the location. I’m not too fond of walking down the alleyways in Dublin, but during the day it should be safe enough. Also, the price was a bit too high for an no-brand independent café.

This place is just wonderful! It was so cute and very attractive both inside and outside. It was decorated with home-made things and photos with cosy couches and they even have book shelves filled with books to provide a little entertainment to those who enjoy reading. If I had the money, my room would look like the café. It was just so cute and I could not resist cute things. I ordered their matcha green tea latte since it’s my favourite drink. The price was € 3.50 which I think is really decent. It was perfect! I did not even have to put sugar in mine to adjust to my preference and I did not have to wait for it to cool down a bit for me not to burn my tongue. Next time I will be ordering their iced matcha latte! I really recommend the place. It is quiet which I really enjoy. I do not like hanging out in over crowded cafes and this place was just peaceful with instrumental music playing in the background. For photos please visit my blog:

What a random little spot. Full of curios and arty bits and homemade trinkets and comfy couches with big cushions, and jazz playing over the speakers, it’s certainly a unique space very unlike anything I’ve seen anywhere else around Dublin.(The only comparable café strangely enough maybe Foam Café which is on the same street just five minutes away) I can’t vouch for drinks as I didn’t have any, but I did get stuck into their strawberry white chocolate cheesecake. It was very good. It wasn’t homemade though and definitely had that ‘shop bought’ kinda feel to it. Still nice, but of course homemade is always better! I will be returning and try out some of their other options.

Love is Art may be off the beaten path, but it’s well worth a visit. I don’t drink coffee or tea so I can’t speak to the quality of those, but I can tell you all about the waffles. Let’s begin. The waffles are definitely their specialty. Freshly made. Deliciously warm. Served with a wide variety of toppings, most notably their homemade whipped cream, delicious chocolate syrup, bananas and vanilla ice cream. An amazing find to satisfy your sweet tooth at any time of day.

As a coffee addict, I am always on the lookout for new caffeinated spots across the city centre. Was really lucky to stumble upon Love is Atelier in Great Strand Street. Especially after having two badly-made cups of muddy water somewhere else, I truly needed a miracle to boost my mood. Wrapped up in green, it is quite an eye-catching view on this greyish street. After entering you get surrounded by flowers, vintage furniture and artworks peppered across the walls of the café. Their specialty is coffee, which is truly creamy and delightfully tasty, served with a wide smile. Their cakes are also worth trying. I was offered a piece of the SEULGI cake, boasting a rich texture and tea flavour. I really enjoyed it. My friend, who popped in there a few days after me, pampered himself with a cup of coffee. Apparently, one of the best in Town. He knows his hot chocolate so I trust him on that. The cool thing about the place is that you can order your own cake, which a treat. Not very often you might end up with the whole cake, having visited your fave café. So if you lovely intimate spaces, romantic décor and relaxing tunes, make sure to stop by and say hello. Together with Brother Hubbard on Capel St, it is a must-visit coffee gem in the Henry St area.

The coffee here is very weak. Their speciality is supposed to be coffee but it tasted like instant. I had an Americano. I asked for another one instead but it was just as weak. My friend had the mocha which just tasted like chocolate syrup. Very disappointed. On a good note though they were the nicest cups i have had coffee in and a comfotable sofa. The location itself is tucked away in an alley so they would need their coffee to be good due to the lack of footfall.
