This place is the tits! Smashing crepes, the power plus crêpe my own personal favourite, a regular haunt of mine when in town, coffee is smashing too

Lovely crepes but i’m not a fan of the seating in here at all the long benches make sitting beside strangers a frequent occurrence, I much prefer actual tables where you can sit beside whoever you came in with and thats that. It felt very crowded and noisy but i suppose theres not much you can do about that with such a busy city centre spot. They made a mistake with my order but were quick to rectify it and my crêpe was fatteningly delicious.

Had the Veg Power Plus crêpe with spinach, cheddar, and mushrooms. Perfectly fine. Cheddar could have been a bit sharer. French toast was fine as well, and they can do a very good coffee. Place can be a bit busy but they seem to keep up. Bench community seating. Deal.

A student of Trinity recommended Lemon to us and this is one of the best places for breakfast in the city. Students, business weasels, and tourists all together enjoying good coffee and fantastic crepes & pancakes. Also very quick and friendly people. Highly recommended. Open early.

Mixed reviews here. I suggest for the most optimal experience from this place: stick with the crepes/sweets and coffee, that’s all I can vouch for. The crêpe options for fillings, etc. is out of this world, you can get anything you can dream of and the coffee is reasonable, maybe not the best in the whole world I’ve ever had but tasty, not bland, they did a cappuccino well. Again, for a «I’ll be back again» experience stick with the coffee and crepes, maybe some french toast. They have an outdoor seating area and big windows so it’s a nice quick stop to have a coffee and people watch or chat.

Haven’t been to Lemon for years! Went for lunch with some people from work and we all seem to have gone for the same thing; the pulled beef sandwich which sounds delicious, beef with a fried egg and cheese. But, we all felt the same once we tucked in, bland and boring. The beef or cheese didn’t really taste of anything and the egg was the only thing the stood out so I don’t think I’ll be back for food again or a while for savory but will go for some sweets. The coffee is really good and this is where I’ve grabbed my morning coffee on the way to work since.

Stopped in here for coffee and something sweet. I left most satisfied and as filled as the crepes themselves. I’ll be back for more. Maybe savoury next time

Fantastic crepes with a huge range of fillings. I was lucky enough to have my breakfast here. I chose a vanilla latte(which was delicious!) and a ‘Power’ crêpe with spinach, cheddar, bacon, garlic mayo & crème fraîche. My partner had a banana and chocolate crêpe with vanilla ice cream– so gooey and deliciously sweet. I would definitely recommend this place– fantastic!

Had Breakfast on vacation at Lemon on Dawson Street, Great crepes, hot coffee, fast & friendly service. Very clean with busboy cleaning tables. Next to local college in downtown, if the locals love it is is great.

Crêpe is just about the tastiest lunch ever. Hands down the best coffee in town too!

I come here far too often for words, but what can I say, it’s so close to work, and tasty as hell! I always get a black Americano from here and bring it into work in the morning. Because of the proximity, I will often go for lunch here too! The Power Plus crêpe is so tasty and filling — spinach, bacon, cheese, — perfect! The only issue would be the seating, I really dislike it indoors, where there are bench like seats and so many people squeezing past you. I prefer the outdoors, which has heating when it’s cold! All in all this place is great for a quick coffee or a catch up up friends over lunch!

Don’t talk to me, I’m eating a crêpe. Nothing to see here, I’m just walking along eating a crêpe. oh no, my tongue is burning, too hot too hot. Must wait until cooler. I’ll try now. Nope still to hot. It’s probably fine… tastest too good to wait. hot hot chocolately. too hot, mmm chocolately… Slightly scaldy tips of fingers, and chocolate smeared all over face. nothing to see here.

I love this place! I’ve gotten sweet crepes, waffles, and scones, and everything is delicious. I hear from friends that the bacon and egg savory is a bit dry, but I haven’t tried it yet so no bad feelings there. Prices are a little on the expensive side for me, though equal to the amount of food you get(crepes tend to be € 7 – 9, but they’re huge and delicious and worth it). For cheapskates like me, there are better breakfast deals — sandwiches € 5 and under, toast, scones — Elevens at Lemon(big fruit scone with butter and jam, plus a coffee or tea) is a favorite of mine, € 4. Service is fairly quick and there is a lot of seating, but it does fill up since Lemon is very popular.

I rarely ever come here, but when I do I always order one of their savoury crepes. They have a lot of items on the menu from breakfast, gourmet, savoury and sweet crepes to waffles, sandwiches, coffee and ice cream. It takes me ages to decide, but most of the stuff had cheese in it which I’m allergic to, but the good thing is that you are allowed some degree of customisation such as choosing your crêpe to be made wth buckwheat and selecting what sauce you prefer. They have a better selection of sweet stuff though. The café itself is always crowded but pretty big with simple décor. The seats inside are lines up like a cafeteria, so it’s sometimes awkward when you end up sitting in front of someone you don’t know(at least for me anyway!). The Dawson street branch is much bigger than the South William street branch which is tiny.

Well what can you say about pancakes? If you are looking for either Savoury or Sweet Pancakes(or maybe even both) this is the place to be. Its location is perfect, right in the city centre. Usually its extremely busy but the queue moves fast. At peak times, it can be difficult to get a seat and at times people are almost sitting on top of eachother on the benches. But the food makes up for it.

Despite studying at Trinity, which is a 1 minute walk from Lemon(if even), Lemon is not a place I have been to very often. I never saw it as a lunch option. I came here for lunch recently, my friend picked the venue, and I was pleasantly surprised. I try to stay healthy, and the Power Crêpe was good for that, has lots of spinach and ham in it, and tasted good too. The seating here is on long benches at long tables so you just have to find a place to slot yourself in, I was worried we wouldn’t find a place, but we did. The place was a bit cold for me, I don’t mean the temperature, I mean the heavy use of plastic in the decorating and the impersonal nature of the service. Lemon is good, I liked my crêpe, and I’m sure I’ll return some day, but I won’t be rushing back.

I was never a fan of crepes until I came to Lemon. This place has completely turned me on to crepes and I often visit this central Dublin Dawson St. They have crepes for every taste. My wife likes the sweet fruity crepes while I prefer the more meaty savory crepes. I really like the big breakfast crêpe which contains bacon and sausage and other items and the smoked salmon crêpe which was equally if not more incredible. Outside of the crêpe arena they also make amazing sandwiches. I highly recommend the Monte Cristo sandwich. My wife likes the sweeter crepes such as the Strawberry Suzette crêpe which was great. The coffee selection is good too with much better cappuccinos and lattes than most places. Seating is limited outdoors, maybe 4 – 5 small tables but they do have heaters and it is not a bad street to watch the world go by. Indoor seating is setup bench style with maybe 4 – 5 rows and a couple two seater tables at the front. They do have a few high chairs which we have used and been happy with. The trick is that they fit right over the benches on the tables. Service has been incredibly friendly. Both those who take orders and those delivering food to the tables. They have even asked if they could bring us water or anything extra and I saw someone greet an older couple and take their order so they wouldn’t have to wait in line. I thought that was incredibly nice and not something you see often.

A fantastic little Breakfast/Lunch place in the heart of Dublin, Ireland! I would suggest this place to any one who is looking for a nice place to eat Breakfast or Lunch. Have your Americano and what ever sort of Crape you can think of, in the morning/afternoon what ever time is good for you. A Delicious little place to eat. Bus stop conveniently placed right outside this establishment.
