Nice clean restaurant for a coffee and scone. Or pick up a bagel sandwich for lunch. Staff is friendly. Food is good. Coffee is strong, just like I like it. Prices are very reasonable.

Great coffee and tasty breakfast bagel over the saturday paper — what more can a girl ask for? Place is kept clean, papers are provided and the staff are just lovely.

fairly average — way better places around at any time of the day… nice staff are saving this from 1 star

Lovely coffee, even good decaf which is hard to find in Dublin, great scones, good fresh soups and of course, good if not amazing bagels! Would be nice to see sweet treats which look homemade not packaged in cellophane as that always reminds me of food on trains/cheap café criossants and is quite offputting… Staff are helpful and its one of those cafes that actually seems to clean its tables and is well maintained. Keep up the good work and repackage those treats and we’ll be onto a winner…

Hate is a strong word, but that’s what I once felt about Itsa. However, Itsa in Ranelagh has given me something to smile about. I like the coffee, the array of papers & the friendly staff. Admittedly, Ive only had a bagel once. It was a really, really great hangover cure. It’s also a good place to people watch. all I’m saying is Taxi drivers and Yummy Mummies. It’d drive you to a double espresso.

Prime location on the Triangle in Ranelagh, close to the Luas station, and actually, on a personal note, one of the closest eateries to my own apartment. The interior is attractive: colourful, spacious and well-lit. The food is the standard ‘Itsa’ menu, which is tasty and satisfying, and comparatively cheap. I’ve been here a few times now– as it’s child friendly, it can often be filled with screaming toddlers, yet yesterday it was quiet, so I called in for lunch. There were just four customers including me, two seated and one ahead of me in the queue(who was only getting a coffee). However… the service was so slow it would have been quicker to have gone to Ranelagh Superquinn, bought the soup and bagels, and gone home for lunch instead. It took the guts of ten minutes to even be acknowledged by a staff member when I was standing at the counter to order.(She seemed half asleep!) Then another fifteen minutes for the soup and bagel to arrive. They were lovely, but the long wait was really annoying, then the ladies loo was in a bad state too so I think I might give it a miss next time. Shame!
