It’s hard to review somewhere like Iceland. It depends on what you want to get out of the place. I mean I am not the biggest fan of frozen food so I am not really going to buy much anyway. Frozen party food is good as is the vegitarian selection and the Slimming World and Weight Watchers selection is pretty good too. But realistically this is not going to be somewhere I do a weekly shop. It’s more the novelty of it. A frozen whole cooked lobster for € 7? Sure. For the LOLs I will buy that. What I do like is there is random things you can buy here that are only available in the UK and you rarely see them in Ireland. Coffee Mate for example. Peter Andre marinades. Some crisps and soft drinks like Twiglets and Vimto. The type of person who does their weekly shop in Iceland however is a highly entertaining type of Dublin character. Sometimes I go just for people watching. Oh and they sell Frozen Faggots. Yes, Frozen Faggots. Some sort of meatball which is indigenous to scary parts of England.
