«It’s just tea but I like it…» A lovely little place on the way down to Blackrock village. I popped in this day to read a book and had a simple Breakfast tea(yeah, that’s right — basically just tea, normal tea, the stuff what I drunk since I were small«tea») and a fruit scone. Apart from the tea costing € 3.50 or something like that(because it’s specialty leaves, specially prepared, kept hot on a candle which is a nice touch etc etc.) it was daecent tea and the scone was truly delicious and baked that day(I was told later). You get some butter and jam with it too — so you do. The staff were lovely — friendly and chatty and it was a comfortable place to spend an hour or two. The price is the only thing that knocks this place off a 5 star rating. Does normal tea really have to cost that much?

Lovely little place in Blackrock. Such a nice quiet cosy place with dozens of different teas to choose from. They have all the teas in big containers on the wall and you can smell each one before you order from the menu. My mom got the butterscotch one which was so nice and I got the matcha green tea which was perfectly brewed and whisked up more at the table right in front of me. Service was a little slow, only a couple of other people in the place and we still had to wait a good bit before we were seen. But the lady working there was very friendly, even bringing us a sample tea while we waited. She was very enthusiastic and eager to please! Lovely place, will definitely return.
