Free Spirit

Oh Free Spirit I can’t help but hate you! I’ve used this salon a few times and find that I now bear a grudge against it. That’s not to say they’ve ever actually done anything really terrible to my hair, but they have such a snooty, pretentious attitude. A load of my colleagues have used this place, because of its handy location for work, and the common thread is that we all begrudge the attitude and the amped up prices.
I think word has got around too because it seems to be empty every time I pass it now. Actually awhile ago I was passing and wanted a trim (I had long hair at the time) and I saw the place was empty. Now I certainly wasn’t going to pay for a full haircut but I thought I’d see if I could ask for a cut-​price cut price on the basis that I just wanted a line cut across my hair at the back and the salon was totally empty. The receptionist got the stylist for me and I asked if how much a trim would be saying I didn’t need a blowdry or anything, and looking around pointedly at the empty chairs. I was told the price was 65 euro no matter what! I hightailed it out of there never to go back!
