HAve you ever watched Weebl & Bob? If not, they’re two eggs-​shaped cartoon characters who hang around and talk about pie. They love, love, loooove pie. Even more than I do. You’ll find them on YouTube. So when I popped in here for a coffee my stomach took a jump when I noticed the pie in the counter. Staring right at me, it was too appetizing to resist.
The deli counter features various dishes: ceasar salad, pasta, roasted vegetables but also soups and sandwiches. The black board on the wall also lists today’s specials. So, instead of a take-​away cup I opted for an early lunch, ordered at the till and grabbed a seat. I’d only opened my book when my pie arrived, and it was everything I had hoped for. Almost licked the crunch of my plate, payed and left with a brownie in my bag (yes, they have cakes too, lots of delicious cakes). Nibbled on the chocolaty goodness on my way back home. Worth every cent. Excellent coffee, friendly service and awesome pie! Check it out.
