Setting aside the complete arrogance of the Italian man that has served me in a number of occasions, the food is hit and miss here. The cost is abhorrent considering the extremely small portions.
I mentioned to the owner that one scoop of chips was rather unreasonable considering his charge. He said «that’s what it is off you go».
I have since tried the one behind slatterys pub, Ezios competition, and hands down, the quality and quantity and cost far outweighs Ezios.
Ezio may do well from the custom that the games at Aviva bring, but forgets ongoing trade of residents. I’ll NEVER cross his door again. Attitude, cost, poor quality, the bad smell from the premises and the small quantity will be the end of this poor business.

As a chipper goes, this is one of the better ones. After not being here in over a year, we ventured here last weekend in search of «tasty food».
Lets not fool ourselves. Its grease laden food, that sober doesn’t taste half as nice. We’re not exactly expecting health food … with that in mind, the chips are hot and fresh, the taco cheese fries are greasy and oh my god so tasty. especially if you dump on a garlic sauce! The chicken kebab is the usual chipper breaded chicken fillet chopped up, its impossible to eat it without it falling apart, but I have no problem licking the sauce off my hand.arm.leg.shoe.whatever, its all good.
We used to live around the corner from here, I lost about 10 punds without trying when we moved away.

I feel bad giving it 3 stars… it’s really 3.5 stars to be fair. It suffers from comparisons with Presto but the curry chips are pretty good.
People think that curry chips are curry chips are curry chips but the curry used is key. Some can be a touch sweet but others have a spicier kick to them.
Ezios is one oft he better ones I’ve encountered.

2 stars for being a two min walk from my house, 1 for the food (in fairness chipper food is chipper food, hard to get it wrong), and one for the very friendly staff.
Not a bad wee spot!
