Dances From South of Italy

This is an odd one but I so wanted to share these classes and workshops with you, I had to write about it.
Giulia, Antonella and Eliana, 3 lovely Italian ladies are offering their uplifting dancing skills and their knowledge about dances from South italy (and some from the north… folklore dances anyway) to whoever is willing to give it a go…
I went a few times to their free 1 hour quick class /​dance session which are now usually in the Exchange, and there’s such a mixture of cultures and gender (for a change !) that I always leave with a big smile on my face, to compliment the mildly sore legs :-D
It’s not only good for your soul (as an experience filled with pure positiveness), for your body (I rarely let my body that loose than during these sessions) but also for your general culture, since they also tell you a bit about where the dances are from and what they mean.
These girls have been doing this on a volunteer basis for probably over 2 years now.
The workshops (a few hours long, more indepth) are in small groups so you will get feedback from how you’re doing and all. I photographed one, didn’t dance myself but I could see everyone was getting a good attention from the instructors.

NB (and a big one) for those who step back when they see «dance» or you ladies who are trying to get your hubbies to dance with you, this is for you ! There is very few rules and even less restrictions about these dances. They are about how you feel, letting loose. Hence the fact that I think a few times men outnumbered ladies.
