Best coffee I had in Dublin… I judged it on its espresso… Quality! Roasted beans from the north, funky interior and the staff were super, answering all my questions and beans and roasts… Dublin prices but that’s to be expected… They have a couple of locations and some mobile stalls… Proper coffee…

This place does really good coffee, however they’re always much slower to make your coffee than most other places. Its always extremely busy and quite small, which means there isn’t really an area to stand if waiting(for ages) for coffee to go. I would give it 4 stars as the coffee is very good, and its a nice looking place. but since there’s another coffee angel 3 minutes walk away thats much bigger and has faster service I’m giving it 3 stars

I wouldn’t linger here unless like the poor girl sat beside us you also want to be ushered out for taking your time. The service was abrupt and the episode mentioned above was the icing on the cake. Speaking of cake we had a brownie and a coconut macaroon. The brownie was OK but the macaroon was like eating sand so tasteless. The coffee was very good. I can understand the need to free up tables when busy but it was quiet and really no need to embarrass the girl who I guess was doing some work on a laptop and was about to leave regardless. No big issue for me as I am usually in and out within 10 min but for others who take their time I’d suggest you think twice.

I’m actually disappointed by my visit after hearing good things. I do wish I could rate at 2.5. The coffee isn’t bad but I’ve had better. Tried a bit of my fiancé’s coconut macaroon which was dry and flaky. My chocolate brownie on the other hand was pretty good! Service was slow and I kinda felt we were disturbing their Sunday!!! We had our coffee in rather than takeaway. There was a girl beside us on her laptop and two empty coffee cups. I’ve no idea how long she was there but one member of staff came over to ask if she wanted anything else. I assume she had overstayed her welcome and was made to feel like she ought to leave. I found that rude and unnecessary when it wasn’t that busy!

This is my favourite coffee place in Dublin for many reasons. First and far most the coffee used is just incredible you can never go wrong with any order you may get from the filter coffee to the americano to the flat white. Their coffee is just incredible and to the highest quality. Secondly, the staff are just extremely adorable and friendly, i feel at home every single time i go there. Third the interior is just perfect and relaxing, perfect to chill with a friend or do some. Fourth, the location, it is close enough to get coffee during my college breaks, and close enough to walk around with it n grafton or st stephens green on a nice day.

Got a reg cappuccino, delicious! Also had the chicken Caesar sandwich, which was filling. Overall happy with my visit– nice and bright little coffee shop, and the staff are incredibly friendly, lots of smiles. Will definitely return!

I asked for a regular coffee because coming from NYC all we drink is drip coffee. I got a coffee but it tasted terrible. Will not return for their coffee but I will return to try their lattes and flat whites. The chocolate croissant was amazingly delicious. It was so crispy and fresh! I will definitely get it again and again.

Love the coffee angel franchise! Staff are always very friendly and the coffee is always on point. The place is full of sweet treats and plenty of coffee gadgets if you can be tempted as well. They sell there own roasted coffee there with is normally great and I love there cinnamon rolls aswell, to die for!

Fantastic little coffee shop. It is a tiny space but actually feels quite spacious once you’re inside. They make a mean flat white with lots of love and care. They also sell lots of little gadgets for the home coffee connoisseur.

This is my favorite place. I have been going to Coffee Angel even when it was just the one on Pembroke Street. I just love their coffee and more recently I just love the ritual of going back and back again. Over the past few months I have been working in Trinity so my daily ritual is to hop off the bus on Dawson street and pick up a cup to take away on South Anne St. The two guys who work here have started to make my order once they spot me and give me a knowing smile. I couldn’t believe it! I’ve become a regular somewhere! I am one of those people! It got me very excited, so for the first time I picked up one of those loyalty cards. The coffee is great– top class stuff by 3fe standards(the standard in Dublin). They sell a bunch of utensils and do all the different styles of coffee a hipster could possibly want(filter, press, classic machine…). They have a good selection of treats and sandwiches too. This location has been pretty busy these past few months since it expanded and it’s great… as long as I still get to keep my regular status!

In my opinion this is the best coffee in Dublin followed closely by Kaph and butlers, always great service and a fantastic coffee.

Defianetly Best spot for coffee addicts. The place is really cool with nice seating area in and outdoor. The service is great and staff are very friendly. I tend to go there not only because of their great and artistic coffee, but also Its near to trinity so i can go and do my work in my breaks and use the internet. I am not much of a cappuccino fan, I would rather have Espresso or macchiato but their cappuccino is Fantastic. I would highly suggest this place for those who share the love of coffee and appreciate a real sense of coffee.

Unpretentious small coffee shop that serves one of the nicest coffee in Dublin. The latte you’ll get here is less sweet, less«polite» than others. This one has more personality, it is stronger and delicious. I like that this coffee shop does not follow the trend of being«cute» with every chair and table different from each other… here you get design and functionality. They don’t scream at you«We are cool!»… but they are. Also, they have a loyalty card(to get one free coffee after 5 or 10), something that I so miss from places like Sweet Sicily(another great coffee shop not far from this one, altough Sweet Sicily has TONS of italian treats that you won’t get here —or anywhere else!).

Perfect espresso. When you order a doppio, you get two ristretto shots. Intense, great crema. Freshly ground, hand-pulled. What else is important in a coffee shop, really? Well, maybe pristine and tasty pastries. OK – and flat whites, lattes, and cappuchinos and other styles of coffee for those who want them. And a well-curated lineup of coffee accessories. And beans. I don’t know much about other coffeeshops in Dublin. But I’m really glad I stumbled into Coffeeangel, because I don’t need to look any further for that essential espresso experience. This is my local coffeeshop during my time in Dublin. My one gripe is that Coffeeangel uses Facebook as a wifi provider. Though you don’t have to log in to Facebook to use the wifi, it’s creepy knowing that Zuck & Co are tracking all my clicks(I couldn’t use my VPN). So I’ll come for the coffee & pastries and stay offline while I’m there.

I like this new and slightly larger branch of Coffee angel on South Anne street. There’s a long high table in the centre and regular tables on the side, as well as a small bench outside. It reminds me a bit of a bar than a café with the sleek décor and high seating. The quality of the coffee here is really good and taste delicious, served to perfection. The only negative is that they don’t have a soya option, just almond or low fat milk, but otherwise it’s a nice, bright and airy place to enjoy a good coffee. The flat whites here are great by the way! They also serve a few things for making coffee at home(They look Japanese made) as well as coffee beans and few pastries and baked goods, but no other food like they have in their Pembroke street branch.

So here’s something you may not know about the Portuguese: we drink a lot of coffee, especially espressos, and we usually take pride in choosing a good place to have our little coffee after lunch or dinner. People going on dates usually say they’re going to have some coffee. So why this seemingly pointless rant? Well, when I moved from Portugal to Ireland I wasn’t expecting to have any decent coffee for a while. But fortune smiled upon me as I found Coffeeangel on one of my very first days here. Thank God for the whole Barista trend going on. I was so happy with my espresso that I made a point of telling it to the barista right there and then. Oh well, you probably wouldn’t understand it, I went from totally hopeless to ecstatic in a matter of seconds. The place itself is minuscule and having your coffee here may involve jumping from place to place to let other people through. They’ve been doing some renovations but I haven’t been there since that to see if it got more ample. The best thing about Coffeeangel is that they not only serve coffee but also sell some very nice equipment to brew your own at the office or at home. You can also buy their coffee blends(and they have some delicious ones, like the Kebel Dumerso). For Christmas they had the coolest set boxes with all you needed to start brewing so I bought one for my boyfriend. The items are very good quality and it’s completely worth the investment if you’re a coffee aficionado.

Shop a few doors down at the cheese monger. Found this place by accident last year. Excellent cup of fresh coffee. The sell whole beans, ground coffee & decaf by the bag. Locally roasted. Also have every gadget for the coffee aficionado. Really top quality items. Moderately priced & excellent quality. Owner is so nice & helpful. Please frequent this place! I want them to stay.

Coffeeangel is good, but not my favorite café in the city. The stores a little cramped so you might have a few run-ins with people. Sadly, my first experience was a little ruined by a guy who was behind me in line taking my two orders(cappucino and latte) as he happened to order the same thing. Blah. Next time! I love all the coffee gadgets they have around the store — purchase some goods and it’ll allow anyone to have a small café in their home :).
