Clean City is the first ever laundrette that I have visited, so I’m unsure as to how long it usually takes to have clothes washed. I thought the four days it took to wash my parka was a little long, but other than that the service was great, made my almost 50 year old coat look like it did in 1967.

I have a confession … I absolutely hate ironing! I will seriously do anything to avoid it. I just find it such a waste of time. Literally I will shake my clothes, smack them against me, hanging them in the steamy bathroom, anything to avoid ironing them. One time I forgot to take my clothes out of the dryer and had left a shirt inside and when I pulled it out it was beyond recognition it was wrinkly that I actually washed it again in hopes that the wrinkles would come out. No luck, but then I found myself stuck without anything to wear and I decided feck it I’ll just wear it to work! The women at work couldn’t get over what a great shirt it was and they love that wrinkled look that some clothes come with! So needless to say I was more than excited to find out that Clean City does ironing and at a very reasonable € 1.50 per item I can’t complain. It’s much better to let someone else stand over a hot metal object to make your clothes a bit neater looking!
