Style over substance. Your paying over the odds for at best mediocre Indian takeaway, badly cooked, unbalanced overpriced. Sadly bombay pantrys best days have long gone, what your paying for here is their branding and marketing.

It had been well over a year since I had ordered from Bombay Pantry, and it hit the spot in dealing with my craving for Indian food. After living in a country, Germany, where Indian takeaways were pretty rare, it was great to have a good, tasty, and reliable service here.
On one occasion ordering in Germany, it took 2 hours for the food to be delivered. At which stage, the delivery man was informed that we had found an alternate food source in the meantime.
For two people, we split a Chicken Korma and a Kofta Curry, with a plain Naan. Both of these were delicious and definitely hit the spot. Plus it was delivered within 30 minutes.

When it comes to Indian takeway, this is by far one of the best places. Everything tastes fresh and there are so many healthy options like superfood, paleo and vegetarian dishes.
They have a meal for 2 which is great, however, if they added more options would be even better, because the only options in deal for two are chicken or vegetarian main.

Went for the value meal… two starters, two mains, rice and nann bread for € 20. This was for two people, and there was plenty for both. I got the beef Karahi (hot option, which indeed it was!!), and my friend went for chicken Korma.
Both were really lovely, tender beef and juicy nicely cooked chicken. Lovely starters and dips too. The beef is not suppose to be an option on the value meal but I asked anyway and they said no problem, so that was cool.
This was one of the nicest Indian meals I have had in Dublin, and I will defo be getting food from here again. Other reviews appears to have had a bad experience with delivery/​order, but have to say we didn’t… although I hate when the incorrect order comes… really messes things up.

I have been a regular customer in the past. However, after my last 2 experiences I will not be a customer again. The last time a main course was missing from my order and the time before that half the order was not delivered and it was 2 hours before we had the complete order with half of it spoiled. This is bad enough but what really is infuriating is the attitude of the staff to this poor service. No apologies, at the door when the missing main course arrived, the guy said my manager said to make sure you paid for that and when they had left I noticed they had made a second delivery charge for their screw up! When I complained to the girl on the phone I was told I did not take your order someone else did! A lesson in customer service is badly needed. By the time you get your food from this place you would have cooked it yourself. Give it a miss.
