Just a few minutes away from the Harcourt Hotel, Antoinette bakery was a life saver. I ordered the green tea latte with soy & the gluten-free snickerdoodle. The latte was more like a matcha latte(that’s what we call green tea powder in the US). I downed the latte in 2 minutes YUMM. Ladies were kind & gave me directions to a local asian restaurant. I highly recommend!

A great discovery! I was craving something sweet, baked, and(trickier to find…) vegan. This little bakery had a piece of banana cake with my name written on it. I came in about an hour before closing time so some of the shelves already looked quite empty, but I got the impression from the(lovely) staff that there may normally be more vegan-friendly options… they did have snickerdoodle cookies too. I’m not gluten-intolerant myself but I’m sure the gluten-free nature of everything here(cupcakes, cookies, cake…) will make a lot of people happy. There are also dairy free options! The interior is cute and there’s a small seating area by the window for cake-guzzling, coffee drinking, and people-watching, so I’ll definitely be back soon.

Nice gluten free bakery. Perfect alternative for celiac people. Great variety of teas and cupcakes. The flat white coffee with almond milk was delicious.

Excellent place — the baked goods, coffee and service are all on point. The girl helping me was so knowledgeable, she broke down every baked good for me and was clearly passionate about working there. They serve the coffee in real mugs if you get it to stay, so I’d recommend grabbing a little window seat and people watching while you have your treat. The Nutella brownie was incredible, I’ll definitely be back for that.

I had a delicious vegan donut and coffee, both priced very fairly. The persons behind the counter were sweet and polite, the place has a great atmosphere: bar-like seating, soft music, and framed photos everywhere. I will definitely be back!

So wonderful to have a bakery in the general City Center area that has gluten free everything! There are even options for dairy free and sugar free! What a cute little spot with sweet décor and very friendly service. I picked up a loaf of gluten free soda bread and am delighted with it — sliced a hunk of it, popped it in the toaster, and then lathered almond butter over it and enjoyed it with a cup of tea. Very yummy! I’m trying a gluten free route so I’m pleased to find this gem in the neighborhood. Also, what a dandy website they have! Check it out — it will make you smile :) To quote the site«Let them eat {gluten free} cake!»

Just 5 minutes walk from my place, I feel like I am going to come back here often. Tiny little café with amazing staff and a good range of gluten free cupcakes. In fact, gluten free everything but it tastes sooo good! What a girl needs.

I’ve been here two times now, possibly one on of the best cafes in dublin! I’m not lactose intolerant, I don’t have any specific food allergy so I never thought of paying this place a visit before, I was wrong. It doesn’t take much for you to enjoy their great desserts and coffee, I decided to give this place a go so I went in and ordered FOUR desserts, took them home with me to sample them and I ended up feeling so bad about how little of them was left. On the bright side, my tummy was very happy! Delicious stuff.

This is a very cute hole-in-the-wall kind of place that’s just adorable. I’ve had coffee there while waiting for Boojum next door to open, and pretty quickly realized I got it all wrong: I should have done Boojum and then Antoinette’s for dessert. Their selection of pastries is very interesting, and it seemed to me like they definitely want to keep with the French theme — with a bit of a twist. We never actually had coffee there, but we did try the hot chocolate — and it was pretty good! It wasn’t too sweet and I could actually taste real chocolate, which is rare these days.

I don’t have that much of a sweet tooth but yesterday I was just craving something sweet(I had a donut in mind because of the Ariana Grande scandel) and I have been trying to stay off the nasty gluten as much as is possible without having to explain myself every time I am eating out with others. I popped in here and sat down with an almond latte and a cinnamon donut delighted with myself. The staff were friendly and really genuine. It feels like one of those local businesses that will have regulars over the years and know them by name. The donut was delicious, not tough like a lot of gluten free products can be. The coffee was also perfect. I overheard the woman at the counter say that a lot of the cakes were vegan so it’s a welcome addition to the slight group of vegan places around Dublin.

While holidaying in Dublin I stumbled on Antoinette’s bakery. It was like I had walked into gluten free heaven. Everything I ate was delicious. It was reassuring that I could leave home(Toronto) and find an oasis where I could eat all the baked goods I wanted in this facility. My favourites were the cinnamon doughnut and lemon drizzle cake. Also service was excellent.

Love this quirky little coffee place, usually get my coffee here on my break. It always smells sooooo good! Really nice coffee, with very friendly staff. Yet to taste one of their cakes although nearly always tempted by their cupcakes. Really nice spot for a quick coffee break. They also have a wide variety of milk options.

Love! Almond milk lattes are on point, and my friend and I liked all of the baked goods we tried. Honorable mention to the quick breads and cheese&onion rolls.

This bakery is lovely and the cakes are DELICIOUS. The location is also cool. However, I found it a little overpriced and thought the staff could be a little warmer.

This place is really nice. The staff is really friendly, the bakery itself is very cute and the pastries… Are amazing ! And all of this for a totally moderate price. I’m so glad a place like that does actually exist ! The drinks we took were very good as well. I really loved the doughnut, I could have eaten thousands of it. My only regret is that there were only like 3 pastries that were gluten free and dairy free at the same time… I can’t wait to try some more !!

Never thought I’d find a gluten free bakery in Dublin! My friends had warned me of the food situation in the city, but so far I’ve been impressed. Antoinette’s is a good place to stop by for a cappuccino on the way to work. Beware: you’ll most likely come out of there with a pastry or two… So far, I’ve enjoyed the coffee/walnut cake and the apple cinnamon crumble. The frosting on the coffee/walnut cake was my favorite: buttery and made with real espresso! The crumble is… Crumbly, so don’t eat it at your desk at work like me. It can be quite messy! Their cookies look yummy and the cakes to order sound good too.

I visited and felt like a child in a sweet shop. It was a little overwhelming, because I was so excited. Look at the display; there’s proper proper cookies, how could I not be excited? I found the bakery through the power of twitter. It’s a cute little place on Kevin Street Lower, just around the corner from the hustle and bustle of Camden Street. So, I tried their lemon drizzle. I pretty much love anything lemon. This does not disappoint. There is a gorgeous lemon zing. It’s not heavy or chalky as some gluten free cakes can be. I cannot wait to try some more if this is just the first sample! At € 2.50 a slice, it’s not going to break the bank. They have lovely cookies too. They look like proper cookies; the type of cookies you just want to dunk in milk. Check out their coffee too. There are not a huge amount of places around to get a good cup of coffee in the vicinity so it’s a good option! Take a pew at the window and just watch the world go by with some coffee and cake… Bliss. Coffee and cake… what more could you ask for? Yes. that’s right more cake. Not only do they sell cake as a little café, but they make them to order for people. The picture is a birthday cake for a little girl, I think; it’s on their Facebook page. Don’t worry, not all of them have Peppa Pig sitting on top, but if you like that sort of thing it’s perfect for you! Otherwise, they make other kinds of cakes to order. Ideas for your next party… or just your Friday treat maybe? What’s most impressive about this little bakery is Sinead, the owner and creator. She was diagnosed as coeliac while she was training as a pastry chef. Could the gluten free dieters be in any better hands when it comes to cake?

Finally! A proper place for Coeliacs to indulge in Dublin. Antoinette’s are tucked away on Kevin Street and have a growing selection of mostly sweet but also savoury treats, all made in a totally gluten-free kitchen. So far I’ve tried their chocolate brownies, peanut butter & chocolate brownies, cinnamon donuts and a cheesy pastry and all have been really tasty. You honestly wouldn’t know it was gluten free. And the staff are really lovely, they’re so friendly and enthusiastic about what they’re doing. I haven’t had a donut in 6 years. I was in heaven. I plan on making my way through their entire cake catalogue, diet be damned!

If I was the Pied Piper of the Land of Gluten-Free, I’d lead all my skipping coeliac mice down to Antoinette’s Bakery, and there they could live happily ever after forever and ever amen. Seriously though, this place is the shiz. I can still smell the unbelievable scent of freshly baked goods that infused my nostrils like nothing I’ve ever experienced before(move over Subway, you have competition here) The two friendly girls running this place offer you an ungodly selection of flourless slices of heaven, including –GFBROWNIES: up there with the best I’ve ever consumed, –GFDOUGHNUTS: not quite my cup of tea, but still nicer than I expected, –and GFLEMONDRIZZLECAKE: I know people hate this word, but SO moist! If you’re a coeliac, or just trying to lay off on the gluten gluttony, I command you to go here before you die, because honestly these cakes are to.die.for.
