Abbey Chiropractic and Wellness Centre

I’ve been going to Abbey Chiro for about 8 months now and I’m perfectly happy with my Chiropractor Seamus. He is lovely and knows what he’s doing, always leaves me feeling a little bit taller and more flexible after every session. You see, I suffer from ‘office worker syndrome’ as in: I’m hunched over a keyboard for the best part of my day so my neck, shoulders and back aren’t as good as they could be. I’d recommend Abbey Chiro to anyone who suffers from chronic back pain or headaches, you’ll be amazed what results can be achieved with just a few sessions.
I can’t comment on the massage therapy they offer but an added bonus is that they text you a day before your scheduled appointment to remind you to come in. Perfect!

Nice clean place and friendly receptionist. Sadly, the massage left much to be desired. Although my therapist seemed to be knowledgeable and spoke of having 10+ years of experience, he didn’t listen to me at all. I badly needed some neck, shoulder, and chest work after carrying heavy bags all day. I relayed all of this clearly during intake.
I told him my pain was primarily in my upper body and wanted focus work there. Instead, he started on my feet and spent almost the entire massage working on my legs and hips. He spent the last 15 minutes on my back and neck, and did not even get to my chest where I had a lot of soreness. I was very unhappy with how things went. Perhaps he was doing what he thought was right, but he did not do what I asked for at all, and therefore I had to spend more money on another massage elsewhere to get the relief I sought. Not happy about this at all.
