It is a very small museum telling you the story of Titanic and passengers on board the Titanic but it was very interesting. The museum is also partly the original building of where the last passengers for the Titanic got on from. You can also stand outside where third class passengers had to line up. At the beginning you are handed a card with a passengers name on it and what class they came from. You can read interesting facts, listen to interesting commentary, see some original Titanic objects, see old photos, models of Titanic, see a replica of what a room for low class and high class passengers would of looked like etc. At the end of the museum tour you can see if your passenger on your card you was handed at beginning was saved or sadly died. If they was one of the lucky ones to of been saved you can read more info on what else happened to him /her. There is also a piece of art work with butterflies and each butterfly represents one of the passengers that sadly died in the tragic sinking. I feel I learnt a lot more from this tour than what I have seen on TV from unusual facts like there was 13 honeymoon couples on board Titanic but I won’t let on anymore interesting facts otherwise will spoil your tour if you go along to the experience. The guide of the tour was also very informative, friendly and a pleasure to listen to. Worth a visit.

Sometime in April of 1912… JACK: Shhhhh… Gimme your hand. Now close your eyes, go on. Now step up. Now hold on to the railing. Keep your eyes closed, don’t peek. ROSE: I’m not. JACK: Step up on the railing. Hold on, hold on. Keep your eyes closed. Do you trust me? ROSE: I trust you. JACK: All right. Open your eyes. ROSE: [gasp] I’m flying, Jack! Much to wife’s embarrassment, of all the straight men on this planet, I’ve probably seen this movie more times than any other. Luckily the wife and I got a free private tour(not telling how!) saving us 9.50euro($ 13) each. The charming and knowledgeable tour guide walked us through the original building as if we were passengers boarding. We got to see the boarding areas, models of the sitting rooms, bedrooms, some simulations, hear some interesting stories, and see some artifacts at the end. All good entertaining stuff, though from the perspective a paying patron, I wish there was more to this«experience». Or maybe I’m just too much of a die hard Titanic Fan was craving more.
