A disastrous and expensive lesson for me in online shopping with this retailer. I ordered an item and when it arrived it was clearly an ex-​display item with scratches/​tarnishing all over and generally not in ‘new’ condition. I called immediately after I opened the package and the response was less than helpful — they suggested I get the item resized at my own expense and have the damaged pieces removed! When I refused they then told me it would have to be repaired by the manufacturer under warranty, even though it was cosmetically damaged before transit and not a warranty issue. Eventually they agreed to a refund, but only after I paid return postage on the item! Send me an ex-​display piece of jewellery and then charge me to return it when it’s not good enough? Outrageous. Shockingly poor customer service — avoid, avoid, avoid!
