The Royal has a traditional pub feel and cooks up great Irish dishes. Be sure and order both the goat cheese, fig, and caramelized onions starter and the Valentia crab claws starter.

The Royal Pier is a great pub on Valentia Island. You’ll find locals and tourists alike inside, with a big TV showing football matches and other sports, and lots of seating for eating and drinking. You’ll even find some outdoor space with picnic tables right out front for when the weather is nice.
