Barracuda Restaurant

Great location but food is not that great. There is not many people when we went in Summer. We enjoyed the terrace and view but food was expensive and not great. the thing is this place is ok for the location but not great if you want to eat well for a good price. Could improve a lot.

I returned on a very pressing need for good steak and by god, I was not disappointed. I went for the 6oz Sirloin I believe, which was pricey but I had high expectations. My SO had the same. When it arrived we were a bit alarmed, it was pretty small, smaller than we had anticipated. However by the end of the meal we were absolutely satisfied and stuffed. My only regret was ordering MR instead of R, because I could have used just a little more blood, though it was delicious nonetheless.
We went all out this time and had cocktails and dessert too. I had Margaritas, which were perfectly done and nicely Tequila-​y, rather than all sweetness and sour.
My SO had some orange panna cotta I think, which might have been the finest dessert I ever tasted. Just incredible, hard to describe but if you get a chance, please do try it. Might just change your life.
There weren’t many patrons at the time, but we were seated next to a rather loud table of friends, which we didn’t mind too much, but our maitre’d came over to make sure we didn’t want to move tables, which was very good manner.
I hope I’ll be back!

Had prawns pil pil to start, seafood linguine for main and a delicious Eton Mess for dessert, all washed down with prosecco and Sauvignon blanc. Staff are very friendly and helpful, good atmosphere here and an amazing view of the seafront! Would recommend it for a date night or a family dinner!

Was here one year ago and everything about this restaurant was excellent. Revisited two days ago with friends and to our dissapointment the food was either undercooked or evidently reheated. Not recommended for dining, but for wining with a sea side view.
