I had not been here for about 2 years, and I was really looking forward to the excellent standard I enjoyed before. The waitress was very friendly, the restaurant itself is a very nice space but the food was not great at all. My chicken dish was dry and one of the vegetables was blackened - I don't know what it was. It was served with very bland Dauphinois potatos. My partner had a pasta dish which he said was also very dry - it would seem the sauce had disappeared. He complained that his dish lacked seasoning.
In any event, I spoke to the waitress and mentioned our disappointment and she offered apologies and a dessert, but we declined this offer and asked her to tell the chef. Then nothing, we never saw the waitress again and we left and paid at the exit desk for the poorly prepared food - it would appear that there was nobody in charge to talk to.
I don't know what has happened to Macs, but it is not what it was.

Ate here once, generally good although I got undercooked chicken wings which could have been serious. Nice layout inside, staff were friendly if a little inexperienced. Seems to have very limited opening hours though, never matching what it advertises.
