Third generation family restaurant on the outskirts of Paris. The owners are gracious and welcoming. The homemade fois gras and the dark chocolate mousse went wonderfully with the house wine and champagne. Antiques, a little walk, live music, delicious food and wonderful owners make this the perfect weekend establishment. Ask them to see the picture of Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell with the owner… even they enjoyed it. Fabulous little local haunt.

This is a little gem right past the flea markets of Montmartre… there is live music and a lively bar but the best surprise was the food and the service. The proprietor was a lively guy who was super funny and welcoming. The food however was amazingly good — we were told the chef had been there for over 30 years. We got some mayo for our frites and the owner proudly commented it was homemade and it was one of the best things I ever eaten. Little embarrassed to say but I mad a mayo sandwich with the table baguette and was in Heaven. You could put it on a piece of foam board and it would still be the best thing you ate in ages. The live music(a older French crooner type lady that afternoon) and the patrons are simply an added bonus. The prices are good — the beer is cold — try it if you are in the area!
