Terrible service. Crappy attitudes. The worst listening skills. Absolutely terrible compared to Pink Paradise and Secret Square. Save your time and money.

My partner and I were on the final leg of a European holiday, and we thought it would be fun to go to a strip club in Paris on our final night — we always enjoy strip clubs in the US so much. Well, this place operates very differently in one significant way: You can’t sit anywhere except at the bar — which is a ways away from the stage — unless you get bottle service. Bottle service starts at around 220 Euros. We are not that sort of people in terms of having that much excess income. So this is what happened: We paid our 30 Euros each to get in, quickly saw that every table was«reserved» even though NOTONE of the tables was occupied(10pm on a Saturday night), and we went to the bar, where there were about three other customers. No two barstools were open next to each other, so I grabbed an empty barstool from the side of the bar to put next to my partner’s — there was ample room. The bartender told us we couldn’t move any of the barstools, and that I’d have to stand! I can’t believe how petty this was, and can’t imagine why the bartender cared at all. But she wouldn’t budge. I was speechless. On the plus side, when I went to tell the woman who worked the front desk(where we paid our cover) that my partner and I weren’t allowed to place two barstools next to each other, she refunded our cover with a smile. In the end, I don’t know what’s more surprising: That we couldn’t move two barstools next to each other, or that a strip club refunded our cover. The latter is why I’m giving the place two stars rather than one. But seriously, Penthouse, WHATTHEHELL???

The dancers here just do not look like our typical SF dancers. Not a one was covered in tattoos or had piercings. No one looked coked out or cracked out(are those two different drugs? Not sure…) They swayed to the music(horrid 80s &90s baby-makin’ slow jams – yuck! I want my made-for-the-stripclub-hardcore-rap back) instead of ‘f*cking the pole’ as one dancer so eloquently described our American technique. Chesticles on these model-types were exposed after the second song but no below-the-belt exposure. Overall, really classy atmosphere. The women were drop-dead gorgeous. Details: — Opens at 10pm — Located one street from the Champs Élysées. — We found a coupon in a hotel brochure for free cover(normally € 30) but drinks were € 18 for fruit juice, soda & water & prices go up from there. Alcohol is served. — No tipping– sooo different from our tradition so when I made it rain on a few dancers(did I really just write that out loud?!), they found it odd, but endearing. They were grateful for my dolla dolla bills(silly, ignorant FPX) but one was nice enough to school me on their etiquette: € 35 table dance € 70 private lap dance Highly recommended!
