Wonderful selection of wines from the entire county of Paris. Emphasis on Burgundy and Bordeaux as others included in the fine wine shop. Folks are at the onset standoffish but as indicate to buy they loosen up and become more engaging. Now that’s what I had hoped for when buying aged Burgundy.

Wonderful little wine shop. The prices are slightly high, but they run some specials and have bottles you won’t find anywhere else! They will also pack up a bottle nicely if you are taking it on a plane. Definitly worth checking out!

I love this wine shop! The lady who helped was so nice… ended up buying 5 bottles of Wine and an armagnac. They have armagnacs from 1800s… bought one from 1970… super strong stuff! Love their collection of wines… they have some great vintages and some super expensive Bordeaux as well. My husband practiced his high school French and the owner was super nice while she helped us pick out some wines to take home with us. Make sure you get the right forms for your VAT refund at the airport as the forms we got were not correct(found out at the airport), wasn’t a big deal but would definitely confirm next time I visit. Overall, a great shopping experience with friendly service. And yes, they do speak English. The best part about the store is that they make personalized labels for the wine bottles… was a big hit with my friends back in US!

This high end wine and French spirit store is a pleasure to visit with a staff that is incredibly helpful and always willing to share a glass of Armagnac as you shop. If they don’t have something you’re looking for, they’ll even search for where it can be found in Paris for you, and send you to a competitor! A true Parisian gem.

To me this is The GREATEST liquor store in the universe. The best of the best of the best of what I like to drink and the longest continuous producer of Armagnac in existence. Wonderful people, great old and special ports, Madeiras and Armagnac. Rue de Bac in the 7th, just two blocks south of the Boulevard Saint-Germain. It is my favorite place in Paris. I have tasted every Armagnac they have and bought many. A customer is invited to taste what they wish to buy and if you are a known customer and a substantial one, anything you are interested in. I have stayed at Hotel Nevers at 83 rue de Bac to be really close to Dupeyron. The hotel is small, tiny, small and cheap. I have never paid more than 80 euros for a room, so call the hotel instead of going on line for rates. They’re listed as 119 plus. Maybe, but I don’t think so. Back to Dupeyron… Port from the 1930’s Madeira from the 1850’s Armagnac from the 1800’s, although the 1935, 1946, 1948, 1949, 1959 and 1968 are GREAT. The newer ones which show great promise are 1983 and 1985. Time will tell. They will air ship at your expense and ask for the VAT to be returned to you if you do take out of France.
