We found this by typing grocery on google maps, otherwise we’d never have known that«monop» was a grocery store, even though we’d walked past it(albeit on the other side of the street). We bought some pre-made sandwiches, salads, and picnic stuff. The beer selection was slim and the only things that were cold looked like nothing interesting, but there was one bottle I picked-up and chilled in the mini-bar fridge. The thing that shocked me was when I was leaving Paris. In the CDG airport, I saw that same brand of sandwiches and salads as we saw in the Monop. Since I was in the market for food, I went in and saw that same sandwich for € 1LESS than the Monop! You gotta admit that € 5.50 for a simple sandwich is a lot, but vacation money is not the same as real money. But, yeah, the same sandwich was selling for € 4.50 at the airport.

Cute larger small grocery store. It is very clean and has a decent selection of wines and food. There are quite a few items that can be easily taken«to go» and eaten(sandwiches, salads, etc.). The cashiers are friendly and fast and I would definitely go back again. PS. I think that they are open until 11pm during the week.
