Just two-weeks old, this brand new jewelry shop still has the previous tenant’s large Antiquités sign on the outside. But don’t be fooled, you won’t find dusty paintings and period furniture inside the shop. The space is actually a gorgeous, gallery-like boutique devoted to the beautiful ceramic necklaces of designer Marion Vidal. Each necklace is composed of some sort of colored ceramic bauble that’s been crafted by hand in Italy then strung onto a piece of ribbon. While there are tribal medallions and even a full-size pea pod among the designs, the most striking necklaces are the ones composed of several ceramic bulbs that despite being voluminous, are rather light because each bulb is hollow. Had it not been for the price tag(280E) I would have totally snatched one up in a second. Yet another item to add the long wish list!
