For 5 € get yourself a ‘Greek’ Gyro sandwich stuffed with lettuce, tomato, chicken, twice cooked fries and sauce of choice. The sauces are actually really tasty, we enjoyed it while drinking beer during happy hour at the Piano Bar(better ambiance than dining in) across the way which had free wifi for customers. Located approximately across the way from Notre Dame. They accept credit cards with no minimum!

I’m in loooove with the Gyro! I’m in loooove with the Gyro! I got it on the low, low.(5 Euro!) Ok I won’t go on, but you get the idea. This delicious street food masterpiece has become one of my favorite foods. Paris is overflowing with amazing food(so much so that walking through the Latin Quarter feels very similar to the kiosk sub culture of American Malls), however, one of the most delicious memories I walked away with was in fact the gyro. I ate at two gyro stands on this same street(you can check out my review of Souvlaki as well). Both had their subtle differences. This particular stand is right across the street from a fabulous piano bar cabaret that you must check out if you are in the area! Great atmosphere. Great wine. What more could you want? I ordered the chicken shawarma gyro which comes with lettuce, tomato, and french fries. They offer an assortment of yummy sauces. I had garlic and chile. I really liked that combination. If however, you are more of a tzatziki fan, head down to Souvlaki. I also had a bite of the falafel gyro which was delicious as well! Happy eating :)

After walking around at the Louvre for 4 hours, my boyfriend and I wanted to get a snack. We were walking around to find a place for a quick bite to eat and stumbled upon a narrow street where there seemed to be a lot of selection of either pizza or gyros. We just picked this place for the sake of me getting pretty moody and needing food in my stomach. We ordered the«Grillade Mixte(Grilled Mix Meat)» for the both of us to share. It was literally a plate filled with pork, chicken, hot dog, and a ground beef patty with some pickled veggies and french fries. The pork was shredded but it was pretty flavorful and tender. The chicken was a bit dry. The ground beef patty and hot dog thing had flavor but it wasn’t amazing. If I were to go again, i would definitely choose something with their pork. The veggies were overwhelmingly vinergary, I definitely was making that sour puckering face each time I ate it. However, I love fries and the fries were perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The price was a little steep, we payed 12 Euros for the plate but it was enough to feed the both of us. Even though the owner/chef and I did not interact much, the few exchanges of words and gestures gave me a good impression of him.
