I can’t believe that it took me this long to finally go to an Anticafé(well I actually tried to go to the Beaubourg location but it was closed for renovations). The tricky thing about this location is that it is within a campus so you’ll have to pay extra careful attention to the address numbers while on the street(Rue Nationale). Aside from loving the general Anticafé concept, this place has a great wifi connection, delicious drinks, & a modern atmosphere. The music isn’t too loud or disruptive(it’s actually quite good!) which makes this a great place to get some work done. By paying for your stay in the café rather than for each individual item that you order(with the exception of some small meals), you are able to order the drinks that you’d like and the friendly staff will make them for you. I ordered the macchiato with white chocolate syrup on top & I couldn’t be happier! It was by far the best macchiato(the Americanized milked down version) that I’ve had in France. It might not be the traditional macchiato but my milked down version(which isn’t so easy to get in Paris) was without a doubt delicious! You can also help yourself to some smaller snacks that are included such as madeleines, pieces of toast(butter, confiture, Nutella, etc. included of course), and a variety of cookies. If you have a project that you need to work on(preferebly on your computer) or you’re just looking for a chic & cozy place to catch up on some studying/work, this is the place to be!
