BEST WESTERN Hotel Riviera

Ok, what hotel gives complementary wine and olives? This hotel does! That alone is worth the price for savoy travelers. Add in prime location right next to the train station (one block away is near enough to keep the noise down) and perfect breakfast, super nice, helpful, cheery staff working on Christmas Eve and Day — almost brings tears of joy. Perfect experience!

It’s small in North American standard but its clean and convenient; just perfect for a stay over in Nice. We stayed 2 nights there. The front desk staffs are super nice and helpful. A healthy lunch was packed for us on our second day. I thought that was very thoughtful. We took it out to picnic at Eze. Our departure flight was super early 7AM. The front desk made sure we have breakfast before we leave the hotel.

Now let me start by saying that this rating is based on a few things. The rooms are small but clean. The customer service is AMAZING! The price per night is VERY VERY good and they give you a sack lunch everyday you stay here for FREE! They also include a FREE breakfast in the morning to get you going. The location if this hotel is across from the train station. It is also a few blocks from the Tram that takes you through the city center and to the coast. Although the neighborhood can seem sketchy at night, we didn’t run into any problems and were very happy with this place. If we find ourselves in Nice again, we will be staying here.
Just be warned, this place is like most small hotels in France. Very small rooms. But other than that… We loved it.
