Zionsville Pizzeria is phenomenal. It’s a quaint little pizza shop that has an awesome buffet with soups, salad, bread sticks, and of course pizza. The pizza is delicious and fresh, and it’s a clean and friendly establishment. Definitely check this place out!

Adequate quality food. Poor, slow service. We were the only customers in the restaurant, sounded as if the kitchen was in disarray with random comments coming from the back… Loudly.

The pizza isn’t great, even if cooked properly. But it wasn’t. The dough was undercooked — raw. It’s the most important part of the pizza. They have good customer service which is great. But still, won’t come back.

The pizza was good! Service was good! Loved having the option to have a beer. It was laid back enough for us to have the kids which is what we are always looking for. I always like having a chance to sit outside as well!

As the other reviews have given this spot a collective 3, I get it. Staff and owner seem friendly, but Zionsville Pizza was OK at best. We ordered take out and drove over to pick up. Take out salad bar was dismal(see photo). Originally, they gave us small 4×4 plastic container and we were kind of shocked because maybe you could have fit a piece or lettuce and a tomatoes in there. They then provided us a larger styrofoam container that made more sense. Don’t go for salad though, not their strong suit. Pizza was OK. I’ve had better, I’ve had worse, just OK. Breadsticks were good. Fluffy, hot and sprinkled with Parmesan cheese. They do have a little outdoor seating area, which was cute and nice. Maybe a cute place to meet a friend or bring your kids. It’s not big, just a couple tables.

The owner is friendly and accommedating, now for the food. salad bar/pizza buffet for 9.99 was a good buy. Different pizzas, salad, and drink. The hand tossed pizza was tasty and sauce typical for American pizza. The flat bread was perfectly baked and crunchy. They offer sandwiches and wraps along with penne pastas and wings. The location in right downtown, but with another pizza place a few blocks down Zionsville Pizzeria might have a difficult time, but I wish them well.

My family loves this little pizza place! The lunch buffet is always fresh and delicious and they’re always happy to put in a specialty pizza for you. The price is good too.

The pizza is some of the best we’ve had, it’s a true treat. We have ordered from them for 5 years now. We always order the Deluxe and eat it all! The only reason I’m giving 4 not 5 stars is due to the shortness of their employees. Haven’t been happy with them, not at all. We have never dined in for this reason, just carry out, and just about every time– they confirm my beliefs that their personal touch in customer service needs help!

Not bad but not good either. Kids had the buffet which was very affordable $ 4.99 includes drink. My kids got the $ worth. I had a personal size pizza for myself. The crust was too doughy but I will take the leftover home and bake it some more. Toppings weren’t cooked through. Waitress struggled though not really a big deal to me as this was just Friday night dinner. A couple got up and left when no one took their order. Restaurant needs a bus boy. All in all nothing special but worth a shot.

Awesome pizza buffet and a great price at 8 dollars. They have a variety of pizza and keep them coming out hot as they are eaten. The crust is nice and doughy with a good crisp outer layer. The sauce is just the right combo of sweet and savory and the toppings are plentiful. I will definitely add this to my lunch rotation. I would like to add that I was here for lunch so service wasn’t a big part of the experience. Also, I am glad I didn’t read the other reviews before coming as I may have ruled it out. The service was outstanding!

Way too much cheese, way too much grease! Really good crust and overall flavor though-i got cheese, spinach and tomato. Friendly staff. Probably wont be back, nothing great.

First time we came here, we loved it. Second time, the pizza was still good, but the service was awful. We were the only customers in there for about 45 minutes, and it still took us an hour and a half before we left. They ran out of the barbecue sauce for our pizza and the blue cheese dressing for our salad. When we went to pay, they overcharged us and were confused about our bill when we explained it to them. Not worth going back.

Just moved to Carmel and had been searching for a good pizza place. On my way home after traveling for 14 hours I googled and found this place. I called in and placed an order. After arriving at the pizzeria(Which was 25 minutes out of my way) the girl who took my order said that they had made the wrong pizza and tried to call me but I did not answer(this was due to her writing down the wrong number. I had to wait 20 mins for them to make another one. I can deal with them getting the wrong number and wrong pizza. The issue was when I asked for some sort of compensation she said she would talk to the manager. The manger did not even say sorry just gave me 10% off which equated to a few dollars. Keep in mind that this was my very first visit and you would think they would have wanted to do something a little bit better for the inconvenience. The pizza was good but due to the service I am not sure if I will be back. Very frustrating. Am I wrong in this thinking???

The service was really bad. I heard the lady server apologize to another table, saying that someone called in sick, which happens, but there were 2 servers but only 3 tables! We started with breadsticks and cheese. The sticks were great but the cheese was very cold, but we got that microwaved once we went and got our server. We had to ask for refills every time. No one ever came to check on us, even when he put the pizza down, he just ran off! They got our toppings wrong on the pizza, but we still ate it because we didn’t feel like finding our server and we didn’t want to wait. The pizza was just okay, at best. There’s 6 other pizza places in town, if the pizzeria can’t compete in price, quality or service, then there’s no need for us to go back.

My family and I were looking to try a new pizza place in Zionsville and decided to order from here. Loved this pizza! We ordered sausage and onion and it was delicious! Salad was also delicious, so fresh, and presentation was very appealing! I think we found our new go-to favorite pizza place! Yum!

Wife stopped in for lunch and recommended them for dinner. I order a large pizza to go. ½ and ½. My half with pepperoni and mushrooms. I counted 2 pieces of pepperoni and maybe one piece of sliced mushroom on each piece on my side. Crust was good as was the sauce. Pitiful for a $ 20 pizza. I’ve had better frozen pizza. There is a lot of competition in the Zionsville pizza market. They are gonna have to up their game to compete. Will not return. The Unknown Diner says it stinks!

For all of the cute places offered in downtown Zionsville, I was disappointed that my first restaurant experience was here. With lively Friendly’s across the street, that’s where I really wanted to spend my evening. Even so, I was more than happy to give Zionsville Pizzeria a shot. Well. The pizza? It was good, but not great. The service? It was good, but not great. Not that this is a necessity, but apparently this place used to serve alcohol but that’s no longer the case. Kind of a bummer, huh. Just not my favorite place. Sorry!

Learned from their website that this is actually a dine-in pizzeria now — Zionsville Pizzeria, and they’ve moved(255 S Main Street). We stopped in here when we were in Zionsville for the Porsche Club of America CruZionsville event. A cozy little eatery, the day we visited they were offering a pizza and salad buffet. The pizza was delicious — fresh toppings and the crust was not too crispy, and soft and chewy in some places. Their breadsticks are wonderful, too! Service was prompt and attentive, prices reasonable, and we had a great window seat to view both the beautiful vehicles and people watch.
