Worst food I’ve had in a very long time. Our waiter was extremely rude and told us that he was the«manager» even though I don’t believe it. The BBQ short rib sandwich that I got was so dry that I could’ve started a fire with it. Never again.

Chelsea was amazing. The pairings pushed the envelope! Loved everything from the Lobster Tempura to the wine gravy that perfectly accent the rib eye.

First thing I saw coming outta Carson City, and oh was it glorious. Its massive and alluring neon sign reminds of an old oil town with too many drifters, and too much time. I absolutely loved this place! The décor is that of fine china meets a Pine tree. The tables, chairs, floor, ceiling, bar, are entirely made from solid pine that has been glossed over — very earthen and posh. The fireplace is welcoming, and the corner windows overlooking the lake is masterful. This really is the perfect location. They could have served old shoes, and I would bite. Anyway, I just hiked 6 miles, got engaged in the mountains, and escaped the rain; suffice it to say, I was starving and elated from ear to ear. I ordered the burger and fries, and my new finance ordered the fish and chips. Wow. Just wow. They were delicious, well-seasoned, not overcooked, and well-balanced. I told the waitress of our engagement just hours ago, and I don’t know if we paid for the cast-iron molten chocolate-chip cookie, with ice-cream on top, but we ate the hell out of it. Never ate so much in my life. It was truly a dream experience, and I miss watching the boat traverse the lake, while eating a burger next to a fire. What a place. You simply have to go. An SLT must!

Had lunch with the car club while on a weekend event. The food was yummy and the cobbler was delicious. Service was spot on considering we were a large group of people. Our reserved tables were ready when we arrived, always a plus.

We held high expectations when trying this restaurant out. 1) Portions were ridiculously small(only 3 food items) for the price we paid per plate($ 12 per person). 2) Food was bland. 3) Not very many options to chose from. If the service was as poor as their food, we would’ve walked out without thinking twice. 2 Stars for our server(whom should receive 5 Stars for his excellent customer service!) and the beautiful view of the lake.

We went on a very busy weekend, even though it was busy, we had good service. We had a good meal, I like the garlic infused Bloodys though my table mates didnt. Overall, I liked it, I will be back.

nice spot to have breakfast before a day on the beach. came in on a Saturday morning about 10:30& was seated quickly. it’s a small restaurant with a cozy living room feeling to it. the outside patio is also nice, but was too cold at the time. :( it took about 10 minutes to have our server take our order & then another 15 minutes to receive it. I ordered the veggie omelet without asparagus and I asked to add bacon to it but I don’t think my server heard me because when I dug into it, there wasn’t any. :(it was very disappointing but I really didn’t want to wait another 15+ minutes for a new omelet. my boyfriend had the smoked salmon Benedict, to which he enjoyed. we also ordered a short stack of blueberry pancakes to share with one another. pro: the two pancakes were packed with blueberries. con: one side was burnt but you can’t tell from the picture because the perfectly cooked side is facing up, which was deceiving to us as well. all in all, the food was good for what we got. the price wasn’t bad and neither was the service.

What a great location for a restaurant! It’s got a very cozy feel to it, which I’m sure is really great in the wintertime. Given we came in during the August summer season though, it’s a tad dark. Service: The servers are nice, if not a little TOO attentive. Our waitress kept coming up to us every 5 minutes to ask how we were doing, sweet but a little much. The busboys cleared our dishes, even as we were picking at the last bites of our food so… Maybe calm down on the service just a bit? Everyone was sweet though. Food: –Truffle fries appetizers are AMAZING. I highly recommend. –Soft shell crab sandwich: It’s a legit fresh soft shell crab — you see the entire outline of the crab and taste as fresh as it coming out of the water as possible. I loved the sandwich and though I was full from eating half, I powered through to eat the other half of the crab left. Highly recommended. Food was fresh, service was pretty good and not to mention you can’t really beat the view.

Average food with above average staff. We dropped by for lunch in August. Sat outside. It’s a great atmosphere, with a view of the lake. I ordered the fish and chips. It was very average. Very. Every staff member was extremely friendly, so that made the experience enjoyable.

Average breakfast/brunch spot. Not bad but there’s easily better options. Pretty generic menu, nothing fancy or special. Food is just average at best. Service is a little slow but the staff is friendly and there’s free wifi. It’s a little confusing when you walk in because there’s a sign telling you to seat yourself. My family picked a table but weren’t sure if the waiter had seen us because no one came to bring us menus. One of us ended up getting up to go get menus before someone brought them to us. There’s also seating outside on a deck in the back. Again, food isn’t anything special. Most dishes are around $ 10 – 12 and come with hash browns and/or toast, so it’s a reasonable amount of food. I ordered the Smoked Salmon Benedict, which was sadly disappointing, and the staff readily subbed the hash browns with fruit for me at no extra charge. The rest of my family had the Two Egg Special($ 10), Ham Steak and Eggs($ 11), Zephyr Special($ 12) and Loaded Hash($ 11). No one was particularly impressed, but no complaints either. –SMOKEDSALMONBENEDICT($ 12) — 3⁄5 [poached eggs, spinach, tomatoes, english muffin] Normally served with a side of hash browns, but I asked to sub a side of fruit instead. I also left out the hollandaise. Honestly, the benedict was pretty subpar(more a 2⁄5). It looked promising when it came out but all the components ended up being a disappointment. Poached eggs and runny yolk are the main reason I order benedicts, but their yolks were almost completely cooked. The smoked salmon was incredibly salty, and the tomato slices were kind of sour and didn’t go well with the salty salmon. The English muffins were soft but bland and probably store-bought. The only saving grace in this dish was the generous portion of salmon. –LOADEDHASH($ 11) — 3.5÷5 [bacon, ham, onion, peppers, cheese, poached egg, hollandaise] Tried some of this dish. Not bad. The ham and bacon are cooked well but they’re really salty. The eggs were poached a lot better(nice and runny) than in my benedict.

Came here because we got no choice. It was pouring this 4th of July and we came to hide from the rain. The wait was 30 minutes. We sit there for 15 minutes and was totally ignored by the server. Food was OK nothing spectacular although the price was high due to the location. I will not go back

Excellent food! Very few restaurants can perfectly poach an egg. Hats off to the chef! My girl had the Eggs Benedict and I had the Zephyr special… pancakes or French Toast, 2 slices of Cherrywood bacon, 2 sausage kinks, and 2 eggs. I had my eggs poached.. most restaurants screw that up.. they nailed it! We got there past the time to serve breakfast, but they let us have it anyway. Considering this is a tourist spot, they are excellent! Highly recommend.. Only 10 minute drive max from Stateline.

We were camped across the street in their RV park and decided to check out the restaurant for breakfast. If you like you breakfast well done, like in crunchy, YOU’REHERE! I could have floated across Lake Tahoe by tying my wife’s and my hash browns together with a few bacon strips. Good coffee though…

While it isn’t fair to judge a restaurant by Easter Brunch food and service, that is when we were there, so here goes. The setting is wonderful. We sat looking out over the lake on a cold and windy day, but were warmed by the large wood-burning fire place. We were warm and cozy inside. The restaurant was busy, and we just happened to show up along with a bunch of other folks. Still, it wasn’t long before we were seated and the waitress was around. Thumbs up for service. Apparently, there was a special menu — not unusual. We ordered Kobe Beef Burger — my husband ordered it medium to medium rare. There was no rare about this burger — my feeling was that it was on the well done side of medium. It was piled with goat cheese, sun-dried tomatoes, onion, pickle, tomato, compote, lettuce — a bit too much for my taste. The beet and quinoa salad needed a bit more pizzaz. All in all, this dish was a meh. A special of the day was crab hash, nice chunks of crab, nicely cut potatoes, perfectly poached eggs, and the right amount of hollandaise sauce. This was accompanied by seasonal fruit. Thumbs up on this one. As it was Easter, there was an Easter Bunny and chocolates for the kids. Nice family touch. Thumbs up again. While I would eat there again, I would ask if the kitchen was in the brunch or lunch mode before I ordered so I could benefit from the best the kitchen staff has to offer.

Visit Date 6÷9÷2014 Service was good here we had their pancakes but they were a bit on the sour side. Not sure why many of the highly rated places on Unilocal that rave about pancakes end up with a bit of a sour flavor/taste to them. I like buttermilk cake like pancakes due to my sweet tooth.(U R Wut U Eat) Sweets… Our waitress was very attentative and kept my coffee full at all times which I needed this day. Everything else we ate was cooked to our liking. Maybe it was the great weekend here at Zephyr Cove in general but this capped off our stay in wonderful scenic Nevada. Short but sweet review I shall return. Written DMF03/26/2015

Resturant has a very nice update with of course a great view of the lake. My review is for the snowmobile experience. Best tourist thing I have ever done. Zephyr suits u up then you board a bus for a ride to the trailhead. Snowmobiles are well managed so you feel very comfortable. Wranglers do a great job of keeping group moving. I do not want to give away any surprises so I will end on this is a must go when the snow is deep, the sun is out & the Tahoe sky is blue.
