Do NOT I repeat Do NOT go to one of the«owner education presentations» Unless you are interested in a high pressure sales pitch with the GREAT possibility that you have been invited erroneously. OOPS! I woke up at the crack of dawn this morning — ONVACATION to gain from«owner education presentation». At no time was I told that my husband MUSTATTEND. I arrive, I get a fruit plate, I am seated, then I am told«it is our policy that if your husband is traveling with you he MUST attend. Sorry. Did no one communicate that with you? Sorry. Can you come back with him?» Oh yes I have another ½ tank of gas to burn to solve your LACK of PLANNING and CLEARLY you are not trying to EDUCATE me you are trying to SELL me SOMETHING again… No thank you Worldmark. Don’t think I will EVER let you RUIN my VACATIONAGAIN… pathetic…

Worldmark owners here… We visit the Zephyr Cove location a couple times a year. Like most Worldmark resorts it’s clean and nicely decorated, and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Also like most other Worldmark resorts there are standard complaints I have: 1. No curtains on the windows, and I’m sorry, but those blinds do not provide enough light control for those who like to sleep in on their vacations. 2. Apparently all of the people who were responsible for installing the shower curtain rods at all of the resorts got together and decided to hang it INSIDE the shower, so every time you shower you brush the curtain, it sticks to you, and you end up with an irritating shower. Now for the good things about this specific resort: The location is pretty darn good, there are no lake views, but it is walking distance from a beautiful park right on the shore with a sandy beach, picnic tables, and a killer sunset view.

We had six adults and one child and the three bedroom condo was spacious beyond compare. The staff was always courteous and the complex was well maintained and clean at all times. I would have to say that the pool area was one of Worldmark’s finest: the large pool’s temperature was perfect without being too warm and the spa was hot and soothing. Yes, there were a few dead bugs in the water, but you could tell that the maintenance crew cleaned it daily. One could also suffice to say that these facilities would be perfect in the winter months as well with their gas-powered fireplaces and electric barbecue grills for steak-grilling, even in the snow. My only(small) complaints are that the lighting fixtures throughout the apartment seemed a bit on the less illuminating side. It did feel a little underlit in the evenings. Also, if you are a guest and not an owner, you are expected to park you vehicle across the street from the complex. We very much enjoyed our stay during our week in September.

Thank you for a property maintained facility that helps make a very enjoyable vacation. It would be nice to have a lift or elevator in addition to stairs in consideration of those who have difficulty getting baggage up to the next floor. We had a wonderful stay!

We really enjoyed our one night stay here, and as owners that stay at many different Worldmark facilities, we found this one to be pretty much on par with the rest of the resorts. Set among pines, thankfully away,(but close enough to visit) from the hustle and bustle of downtown and the casinos, we were able to also enjoy the close proximity of the wonderful parks and viewing areas of the lake. They also provided us with a free state park pass for the length of our visit. While that particular park was… meh…not as great as we had hoped, the pass was still appreciated. There is also a Safeway right across the street which proved incredibly handy on more than one occasion. There were only three things about our unit that seemed amiss — the microwave could have been cleaner, the bathroom door lock was a challenge to get locked and the slider for the patio door blinds seemed rigged and came undone. We were only here for one night, and did not use any of the facilities so I cannot comment on those. Otherwise, we had a wonderful experience!

I and my wife just stayed at this resort last night. we had the 1 bedroom. I read the previous reviews and agree with the positives but not the negatives. I didn’t note a time limit at the computer, but i have to confess i didn’t notice any posted rules, probably because i didn’t have to wait to use the PC. I didn’t notice any bugs in the pool area. the spa was nice and hot. Also I and my wife noted that our bed was more firm than ours. maybe the soft mattress issue was addressed. I would like to add that the resort is a quarter of a mile from the Nevada state beach and camping area, which was a nice stroll for us. Also my wife noted that shopping was close-by. We had a question about the ice-maker setting in the fridge, which was promptly addressed by sending over a maintenance person. my wife likes newer things and it was her first time staying at a Worldmark resort. She really enjoyed the interior design of the place and took pics and videos for ideas for our place. All the surfaces were clean and crisp. They either just remodeled the place or maintain it really well. we liked our stay a lot and would love to come back.

We had a two-bedroom suite and it was really nice. The master had a king, the 2nd bedroom had two twins and there was a murphy bed in the living room area in addition to a couch and two arm chairs. The dining table fit up to 6 people and there were two stools at the counter. It was quite spacious and comfy here. Although it’s a couple miles away from the casinos, it’s not a very long drive. Since this is my family’s timeshare, I’m sure we will be coming back again.

Staff is friendly. There’s a swimming pool, a kiddie pool, and a jacuzzi. The only gross thing is there’s lots of dead bugs in the pool and jacuzzi. I know it’s not their fault. But still… eck! They had one computer you can use for free for 20 minutes. I for one, can’t just go online for 20 minutes. I need at least an hour. They have a small gym They have a small arcade room They have a ping pong table They have a pool table but it’s like $ 3 to play They have a soda machine You can rent movies…$ 3 per day The room we stayed in was nice. There’s a tv and dvd player in each bedroom. They have complimentary spice packets(parsley flakes, onion powder, ginger powder, red bell pepper, etc.) laundry detergent, soap bars, dish sponge, and liquid dish soap. They have beach towels for you to use. There’s a comfy leather(pleather?) couch and chairs. There’s an electric bbq on the patio. You do need to take out your own trash. But there’s a dumpster right outside. There’s a fan in each bedroom closet. There’s a fan in the dining room or living room depending which room you have. The one thing I didn’t like was that every room was so dark even with all the lights on. Oh and the beds were WAY too soft for me. I had trouble sleeping. But all together, I had a great and very relaxing time. Great time share, would definitely stay here again.
