I’ve been twice and I have to say it is much better now than it was the first time I went. I have gotten the shrimp skewers both times, with different sides. I love the seasoning on the shrimp as it had a lot of garlic. The shrimp has been perfectly cooked both times. I get the rice that comes with it, which has a nice flavor. I was not a fan of the green beans… they just tasted canned and like they hadn’t been seasoned. I am a little disappointed that the steamed vegetables side option is just cauliflower, broccoli, and carrots and it is already premixed… The staff is either unwilling or unable to eliminate the cauliflower which is why I never get this as a side(even though it is one of the healthier options). The second trip I got a side of a baked sweet potato. I was offered cinnamon, sugar, and butter to accompany it and it was good… but then again it is sort of hard to mess up something as simple as a baked potato. The service is good and the family that owns it seems open to suggestions and wants to improve the place. I look forward to seeing what it develops into.

Terrible service, 20 minutes waiting to order and only 3 tables occupied at the time. Got up and left, won’t be back.

The service was slow. The shrimp plate was horrible. I can honestly say I will never return.

I decided to give the red snapper a chance since it had such good reviews only to find out that it is not quality. The flounder was ok but the shrimp I got with it were cold. My friend got catfish, it was mushy, flavorless, and kinda smelled old. The reason I gave it two stars was because the waitress kept my water filled other then that garbage.

If you can get past the stench in the lobby you may enjoy mediocre food at best. I wanted to make sure I gave the new establishment a fair shake so I visited 3 times before writing a review. 1st visit waitress was amazing, she had years of experience and it was evident. She made suggestions based off of her personal visits on days off and they were true to her recommendations. Shrimp was plentiful, hush puppies were ok, rather hard and cole slaw was runny to say the least. 2nd visit my guest and I went off on our own and boy did we get surprised! Burgers were huge and pure yucky, fries soggy and drenched in excessive grease and onion rings were to say the least interesting! Even the teas and Pepsi struggled to be drinkable. Tea was bitter and Pepsi tasted like machine may have needed a deep cleaning! 3rd and final visit was last straw! I am interested in knowing what the stack of boxes are now hiding? They did not exist on the first visit. Employees(kitchen staff) were obnoxiously noisy and the wait for food was epic! We just knew because we had to wait 30 – 45 mins our food would be similar to the first visit, however the only plate on a table of four that was edible was the chicken skew. The rest of the slop… well do not waste your time! Shrimp was plump tasted freezer burnt, burgers were big n far from edible. Hush puppies were more like hockey pucks so be mindful of your teeth when attempting to eat them. Once again the tea was bitter and all sodas came with an after taste! Cashiers are nice and friendly. Some of the kitchen staff sure could use a training session or 2 on how to wash hands before handling food. Tables were sticky on visits 2 and 3. The entire restaurant on visit 3 was consumed with a mildew smell.

Great service and tasty food. Had the chicken skewers. Fast, hot and tasty. Waitresses were super friendly. A great random stop for me.

Went there for lunch, not real busy, received a basket of hush puppies, exactly 6 of them, usually get more than that at Smithfields BBQ along with a meal, order two fish orders, one with flounder which was very thin, dry and tough to even cut and tilapia which was plentiful but not the portion size I ordered, it was ok, both foods tasted like they were frozen before prepared, the cole slaw is the size of a one ounce dixie cup, not much food for the price you get, the onion rings tasted like they were frozen as well, frozen foods don’t work, try making homemade food at this location and it may thrive, otherwise, this family will not be going back for sure! Not a good first impression. The baskets on the counter facing the kitchen looks like they wanted to hide something. Save your money and stick with fast food, because this was fast food, not a regular dining/restaurant experience. Subpar for a $ 28.50 meal for two.
