The only place I’ve ever been able to find shrimp cocktail this fresh is in Mexico. Juanita’s is by far the best seafood available in Yuma; however, don’t let the lunch truck fool ya’ it’s not surprising if it ends up being $ 15 – 20 per person. Totally worth it at the end of the day. I could eat here every single day of my life if my wallet would allow it.

I have visited Juanita’s a few times. My favorite fish ceviche is right here. The ingredients are fresh and the tostada was crispy till the end. I tried the fish taco today and was pleased. Not too much breading on the fish, it came out hot. Very tasty. The lady at the window seemed nice. I put my spanglish into good use.

Shrimp and Fish tacos plus some other stuff. Both quite good. Price about six bucks for two tacos and a canned or bottled drink. Probably a bit high in price, but what other taco truck has a fixed building with bathrooms and an outdoor eating area?

After reading Ed’s blog I decided to check this place out. My sister was visiting from San Diego during Spring Break and I told her I knew of a place that served some good shrimp tacos. We went around 4:30pm and placed our order for some tacos. The cashier acted as though we were forcing her to keep the place open and told us we could only order for take out. We got our order and raced home(I live a few blocks from there) we were very disappointed to find out our tacos were refridgerator cold. I convinced her to give them another shot and go earlier the next day. We arrived at 2:00p.m. and placed the same order and were surprised to find out these were also cold. I don’t know if they are trying to save money on the gas bill or they just don’t want to heat up the tortilla but after making me look bad 2 days in a row I will not be back. Juanita’s customer service stinks!!!:(

Truck serving the tastiest shrimp tacos ever and giant seafood cocktails. Limited outdoor-only seating and long lines but it’s worth it. We were looking for a good place to stop for lunch on our drive from Phoenix to San Diego when we came across Ed’s blog. The wonderfully detailed descriptions and pictures made it a no-brainer to stop at Juanita’s. This is the largest shiniest taco truck I’ve ever seen parked in a lot with outdoor seating and permanent restrooms. Unfortunately, they had already sold out of the fish tacos so we ordered the shrimp tacos and campechanas(cocktail with every seafood available — you can also choose just one seafood). The shrimp tacos were every bit as good if not better as Ed describes — freshly-breaded and fried small shrimp with crunchy cabbage topped with a tangy creamy sauce. The campechanas is enormous and contained jumbo shrimps, bay scallops, fresh succulent oysters, tender octopus, and abalone. Our favorite was the oysters. Read Ed’s blog to get the full 411 and reviews of other trucks on the strip:
