I used to enjoy this place. Today I came in and read my entire magazine before they brought me my simple burger and fries. The waitress dropped my plate and before it stopped sliding she had turned and gone. By the time I got her attention and requested mustard and she remembered to bring it, the food was cold. I understand it was lunch but there was a lot of help from what I could see, and there is no excuse, ever, for treating me like I don’t exist.

The Sweet Potato Pancakes are fantastic. I’ve had a lot of good meals here — nothing spectacular but good. But the wait-staff are fantastic and I love the senior karaōke on Wednesdays and Sundays! Nice bar too — great place to watch sports.

Been stopping here for years. Always a good meal and prices not bad. Nice bar separate from main dining area or you can dine in the bar area if you want. Its a local favorite too. Try their milkshakes. They are pretty great!

The first time I ate here it was fantastic but this time my food was terrible. My hash browns were so crispy u could bounce them off the table, the eggs were dry and my steak was tough. I don’t understand how the food could be so different. Whoever the cook was tonight really sucks.

The food is AMAZING too bad the waitress that«took care» of us was DEPLORABLE(her name was Tammy)! The guy on the front is incredibly nice and attentive and he goes out of his way to make you feel welcomed. We went on a Friday at 6.30, which was dinner time, therefore, was packed with snowbirds(old people who come to town during the winter months) but eventhough there was a long queue he got us in really fast. The thing got really bad when our waitress Tammy angrily asked us what we wanted, we order two plates of fish and before we could say what kind of sides we wanted and also if we wanted soup or salad, she just bolted, I had to almost physically stop her to tell her what kind of side I wanted as it includes one side and soup or salad(the coleslaw is the best!) She annoyed told me they were out of coleslaw and that the entire restaurant knew it and also the bar, mmm okey? She didn’t offer any other options or our choice of soup or salad and just left mad. She brought the salads with what obviously were the crumbs at the bottom of a croûton bag, very sad, and also brought the salads before the appetizer after we said we wanted that first. During the entire time wewhere there only ONETIME she asked us if we needed anything else when we saw her asking everyone else but us(all the others were snowbirds). I asked for a couple of lemons and she gave me one, the smallest she found. We were seating on this tiny table, which is ok, but my husband is 6’5 and he barely fit, I asked the nice man on the front for a table that was a little bigger, I know he tried eventhough it was crowded, when he told the waitress he was going to move us, she rolled her eyes screamed why was he moving us and the front guy said because my husband was uncomfortablen that the bar was still dirty. Okeeey, my husband felt bad about the way she acted and proceded to say out loud that it was fine, that he could stay in our table. We never got moved, which is fine, and the front guy came to apologize for not being able to move us but, I mean, it was fine because he tried and we knew it wasn’t his fault. We go there pretty often and the food is really amazing, good prices and we are treated amazing by the guy on the front and our usual waitress(an older hispanic lady that is super sweet and attentive) but this Tamy lady RUINED our dinner, and of course we left no tip whatsoever. Since I am still butt hurt because of the way we were treated by the rude and obviously busy lady I will only give two stars, if next time we go we are treated like humans by the waitress, I will change my review.

I love breakfast here. Home style food and portions. Everything I have ordered off the menu for breakfast has always been amazing. Only once did I have an issue, but it was super busy and the staff was super great!

Food was hot and the hostess is grumpy. The waitress is adorable and brought us what we asked for. But the food was hot yet. Mediocre at best.

Wow. That’s all I can really say. The service was very slow and inconsistent, and our orders were not up to par either. My good friend ordered his steak well done and it was dark pink on the inside. So he sent it back and we had to wait another 45 minutes just for him to get a mediocre steak sandwich. I got the French toast, which was undercooked and eggy. I was very disappointed and will definitely not be coming back.

Pretty standard diner fare. Quick service and a fair price, hard to beat! Skip the chain places and support local cafes and diners!

In the last two weeks I have spent a lot of time waiting to be acknowledged by someone from filling coffee cup to taking my order. I like the food here as the reason I keep coming back though.

Stopped on the road from Tucson Arizona to orange county to have a wonderful hot roast beef sandwich with mashed taters gravy and string beans. The waitress was a sweetheart the people inside were nice and friendly and the food was prompt and fresh. Highly recommended as a «truckstop» café style meal while on the road through the desert.

I went to the café because there was sufficient truck parking for my semi. I ordered a steak(rare) with a baked potato. The steak arrived at nearly room temperature and was tough enough to join the Marines. There was plenty of gristle to get caught between my teeth. The waitress disappeared and we had to get refills from the busboys. My wife ordered a hot pastrami with a beer. The sandwich was greasy and I had to go to the bar myself for a refill on the beer. I have been to this café before, and have always been impressed with the food and the service. They use real butter and their ranch dressing its always fresh.

I know this sounds crazy but, Day Breakers is no ordinary«Truck Stop Restaurant.» We all know the breakfast is Awesome! They are serving different variety of phenomenal steaks, NOJOKE! Tonight we had the 32. oz New York Strip for 2 it came with baked or mashed potato’s, vegetable side which is corn on Friday’s, rolls and soup or salad and we chose clam chowder. FOR $ 39.99THISIS A HELLOF A DEAL!!! We eat at all kinds of fine steakhouses and I know you wouldn’t think this place would be that but it cooks a superb steak!

This looks and feels like a TRUCK stop breakfast place, but the food is GREAT! I really like the sweet potato pancakes(American heart association approved!) and all the other foods were delicious too! It’s a no frills, kind of place. Just dishing good old traditional American breakfast foods!

They have a sign on their door that says people love them on Unilocal!for a reason! Service and food were excellent. I had the sweet potato pancake pan san. The pancakes tasted like spice cake, and the bacon was cooked perfectly. My husband’s chicken fried steak and eggs came with fabulous gravy and the steak was so tender you could cut it with a fork. I think we’ve found a new favorite place for Sunday brunch!

OMG! This place is the BEST! The breakfasts are amazing. I am going to recommend them to Guy Fieri on Diners, Drive-in & Dives. Order the ham and eggs and you will talk about it all the way home. Three of the best chefs around! I can’t wait to stop there on our trip back from San Diego in a few weeks. A must for anyone going through Yuma! Don’t want to forget to mention the amazing waitress, she deserves a raise.

On a race cross-country from DC to San Diego, this place hit the spot. A sit down restaurant, but with fast, attentive service and located right off I-8. The veggie burger was hot and delicious. The Breyers ice cream a special treat! Awesome place!

Yes please! I had the chili omelet, my friend had the pancakes, and my other friend had the Denver omelet. Yum! All of it. The décor is older but spotless and they have some seriously cool old stained glass hanging lamps. The staff couldn’t be nicer, and the coffee was hot and plentiful. Go and enjoy.
