Starving for health food stores up in the high desert? Hang on, help is on the way… thanks to Sue’s Health Foods. For a smaller store, they have a great selection of organics and supplements and spices… plus all the main necessary vegan essentials like Vegenaise and soy products. I always find at least one new product to take home and taste test.
About the only thing I can complain about is the hours… they aren’t open enough! The 6 pm cutoff is often too early for me, plus I can’t count how many Sundays I could’ve used a great dairy-​free ice cream break! Sigh… guess that is one good thing about Mondays.

Its the best health food store in a hundred miles.
Like most stores like this its expensive but well stocked with a great staff.

I love that if they don’t carry something they are more than happy to order it for you. Also, I wanted a vitamin for my son that didn’t include added sugar. I was having a heck of a time finding one. They researched products and now supply them in their store. The Facebook giveaways and freebies are fun too!

Based on the reviews I decided to give this place a try. The store and set-​up was pretty nice and it smelled wonderful inside. The employees however were rude and not attentive. When I walked in there were three employees standing at the front and none of them greeted me but instead looked at me like I was alien, I chalked it up to me being an unfamiliar face. I walked around the store (being the only customer there) for about 20 mins and no one offered any assistance, I picked up a few items and looked around some more when another customer walked in the store and they were given a warm greeting from all the employees who then asked the individual if they needed any help and proceeded to help them. At this point I put all the items I had picked up down and walked out the store. Obviously you don’t want my business if you can’t even muster up a simple «hello» or «how can I help you»

Yep, look at the previous reviews, this place is pretty impressive. Possibly the best selection of supplements I’ve ever seen per square foot, blows places on the Westside away. Squeaky clean, very nice, helpful staff.
Must be a lifesaver for the locals. If they had a larger selection of organic produce, I’d move around the corner

Great staff and selection! …It smells really nice in there too… I don’t know what it is, but I like it. haha. Everyone there is super knowledgeable, and sweet as pie. Love this place!

As Rosa F. pointed out, the staff is definitely friendly and informative. I had some health issues and someone I knew pointed me in this direction. As I was looking around, a female employee asked me if I needed help or if I had any questions. I told her what my health concerns were and she explained to me in detail what was probably going on and what I should talk to my doctor about (she had told me her sister was going through the same thing). I didn’t end up buying anything but that didn’t stop her from still treating me as if I had.

Great bulk section for grains, oats, nuts, and more! Good selection of foods, juices, supplements, and snacks. Staff is very friendly and informative.
