Been coming here for years and never disappointed! Love the salad! Every time we come to the mall we stop and eat here!

My boyfriend and I love the lasagna here, never disappoints. The salad and minestrone soup are good too. Been here before and this time it was slightly better. The tortellini were yummy and the service was great.

New owners, food is great! Service was even better. Had the fam there for birthday dinner and nothing to complain about, even the desert was awesome! Last time food wasn’t so good. Glad I gave this place another shot.

Gross and expensive. Tastes like mall food b/c it is mall food. We ordered fried ravioli and they gave us 6 for 15 dollars, the raviolis were extremely flavorless and bland. My Cajun chicken pasta made me want to cut out my tongue. It was the type of food that was so bad that a starving African child would’ve turned up his/her nose in disgust at it. The only reason that the restaurant earns a single star is that the bread tastes pretty solid and I liked the raisins in the salad.

Went for our anniversary. Service was good. The food was very bland. Both my husband and myself were very sick that night. I will definitely not be going back.

I love Strings! The new manager is awesome – always checking in to make sure everyone is okay – and the salad and bread are always amazing. Every time I order a new entrée, I like it as much as, or more, than the one I ordered previously. Give this place a shot – it’s worth it!

Food is delicious, see a lot of complaints about service but I have always received spectacular service and checked on regularly. Would recommend this to all my friends and family. :)

We stopped in after doing our shopping in the mall and the sign read that kids eat free after 4pm. We arrived at 3:40 and had to sit in booth for 20 minutes before being able to order just to get the 2 kids meals free. That was just the start. The cesar salad was great, the seafood bisque was lukewarm and the bread was ok. When the dinners arrived it went from ok to bad. The seafood pasta didn’t have any scallops because they were out so they added more shrimp, ok. The chicken fettucine was a joke, the sauce was so watery and the chicken was over cooked and looked like it came out of a frozen bag. My meal was not what I ordered, they gave me lasagna and 2 meatballs but told me that they would make what I ordered and I won’t be charged for the incorrect meal. The lasagna was a joke, it was cold in the middle and the meatballs tasted like they had been thawed and cooked to quickly. The lasagna was inedible and they took it back. So I basically had salad for dinner. Let me tell you the to go item was not any better. Had to throw that out too, flavorless and just wrong. Who is doing the cooking here? Do they use frozen entrees and just reheat them? The waitress was very nice and I felt bad for her because she was the only one working when we got there at 4pm on a Sunday. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Until they figure out how to cook real fresh food, this place is a joke!

The artichoke dip rocks! The bread is very fresh. The ceasar salad was disappointing. It was not tossed so there was too much dressing. The server was great. Was very attentive. I really appreciate that. I had the vegital with only chicken. Lots of chicken and veggies and the broth was very good.

I live in Sacramento, my family lives in Chico, so we meet in the middle for lunch from time to time. The last several times we’ve met at Strings in Yuba City, and every time the food has been good and the service excellent. My «kids» always get the eggplant because it’s their favorite, and I always get the the shrimp appetizer, which has at least ten BIG shrimp, along with salad and rolls. No, it isn’t Chez Paree, but the food has always been more than good. Tasty, big portions and lovely to look at. Our server yesterday was Jeanette who was friendly and attentive. Would we go back again? You betcha!

Once a great little Italian eatery. NOW Mediocre in every aspect. I don’t know what happened, before I left for the military this was a great spot to eat in Yuba City. Since I’ve been back everytime I come in here I’m disappointed, the food quality and service isn’t what it used to be. But the prices all went up or stayed the same, I still continue to frequent this restaurant but have never been extremely satisfied. The dining area is very clean, and I think they have a good wine selection but I don’t drink alcohol so I wouldn’t really know.

I used to come here all the time when I was in high school. My friends and I would stop in for dinner and eventually it became every Wednesday for their all you can eat pasta. It’s only about $ 9 and the only thing I would really get there. The other items I’ve tried were never really worth the fuss. After several years I decided to come back to see how things were. It was a little disappointing to see that the wednesday pasta menu hadn’t expanded or evolved at all. Everything tasted pretty basic. The bread was only slightly warm, the salad; a little bitter and the pasta was overcooked. It wasn’t as good as before and the Same goes for the service. Upon walking in the manager could be seen and heard scolding someone In the kitchen and most of the waitresses seemed only semi-interested in being there aside from ours who was smiling and greeting multiple tables. Another thing that’s changed is that they don’t want you to take your leftovers home. In past years we would always be given a box to take any leftover salad, bread and endless pasta left in our bowls. We both had about half of our pasta and 2 bread rolls left so we asked for a box. The waitress looked at us kind of funny, grabbed us a box and told us that we «shouldn’t be surprised next time if they don’t give you a box.» Really? It’s like, 20 noodles and you’re just going to throw it away anyways. Places like Olive Garden give you a brand new bowl to take home and a fresh bag of breadsticks. There are other places to go with good tasting options and decent prices.

I used to love this place, but just went in and they changed the sauces and the overall quality of the food has really deteriorated, I will never go back. A warning regarding the change in the food would have been nice, ruined my lunch :(

This restaurant is amazing! The atmosphere is romantic and relaxing. The servers are all very nice and always give you excellent service. The manager insures that guests are satisfied and happy. I have been a customer at this restaurant for many years. To this day I enjoy the entire menu. The food is great. From their Shrimp Penne Alfredo to their kids Cheese Pizza. The salad and bread is always fresh and is bottomless :) Strings Italian Café is the perfect place to go eat. Whether it be for an anniversary dinner, a business luncheon, a quick bite to eat with the girls, or even going solo. I highly recommend Stings in Yuba City, Ca for anyone and any family!

They’re alright. Service is good, but could be better… Food was alright, Nothing special. They’re way over priced for a place Like Yuba City… it would be nice if it was priced at reasonable price. Only thing I love about this place, is the atmosphere & especially the Italian Soda no joke… I sofa king love it to death, can definitely grab a second refill free of of charge. After that, It’s charged extra. Blah! Ok. Toodles.

One of the better Strings I’ve been to. They handled my usual special order without any problems. The dining room is clean and open and the paintings inside are gorgeous. Only drawback is being located on the back side of a not so great mall but at least that meant I was able to browse video games while waiting for a to-go order once.

Umm the Chicken Picatta really had no taste and the Spaghetti was a little runny and oily(see picture). I just remember the food being slightly better the last time I came here. Our waitress was OK though a little forgetful. I like the fact that most meals include bread and a salad. For about the same price at Dancing Tomato you just receive your meal and the salad is a separate bill.

Don’t be scared of this restaurant because if its location! While this isn’t always the 1st place I think of when I want to go out to dinner, it is up there if I want to have lunch with friends. This is mainly because of the soup & salad! I would say about 80% of the time I dine @ this establishment I will have the soup & salad combo. You can’t screw up salad, I LOVE their salad dressing. I also obviously enjoy their minestrone soup. When I eat at this restaurant I tend to forget I’m in the mall. The portions are good & I feel the prices are right on. I would defiantly say the service has changed. I didn’t know it was under new management until I went to write this review, but now that I know, you can tell!

While I have had more authentic, the food is fresh and the service is good
