Waiting on haircut next door so thought we’d grab a juice. The girl touched her hair and face like a million times as she made my juice! Every time she put in a cucumber SWIPE the hair or SWIPE the face. 5 bucks for HOT juice over ice that tasted like pooh. I’ll stick to juicing at home.

I shop at BB&B a lot so I often go and grab a smoothie at the same time. I’ve tried to like this smoothie shack for so long but I don’t think I can try anymore. Their smoothies are made with sherbet and they taste really sugary and artificial. PLUS, their workers are really unfriendly… no greeting, no smile, no chit chat… Just a «what do you want look» and a hand stuck out for your money. Also, the last time I went I had a coupon for a BUYONEGETONEFREE and I wanted their kale smoothie but they said I couldn’t have it with my coupon, even though that was not stated on my coupon. It’s a crappy smoothie not gold. I’ll stick with Jamba Juice.

I tried really hard to like Juice It Up. I’ve had about 4 drinks from this place and never finish them. The first drink I ever had was the razzledazzle or something like that. It tasted very heavy and gloppy, like it was mixed with a mayonnaise texture. Idk, weird! So I went back again to try more flavors because I don’t like to write an establishment off after one bad experience.(Especially if it’s because I don’t like the flavor I chose.) I even ordered two drinks to ensure it wasn’t just a bad pick. They all taste funky. They don’t taste like fresh fruit smoothies. They taste artificial to me. I’ve also gone in various times and there’s only one person working. They’ve been in the back doing dishes or nowhere to be found. Not fair to them or the customers.

Not impressed! Attempted to make my first ever visit today as I just had a dental procedure. As I walk up at about 11:00AM, I notice that the OPEN sign is not on, then 2 ladies were walking out with their drinks, so in I went. I’m greeted, if you can call it that, by a gal who looks like she ran it pretty hard last night or possibly the past 10 years. That’s beside the point, but anyhow, the phone rings and she walks to the back where I can see her talking to someone in an animated fashion, complete with flailing arms and what appears to be a personal phone call. I take 2 – 3 min to figure out what I want and there she remains, flailing and gabbering away. So, I still have not tried this place, but can’t imagine ever doing so now as their priorities don’t appear to be any form of customer service. Hey, I at least gave’em a shot and that’s all they’re gonna get from me.

I wish they wouldn’t charge extra on debit like Arco am/pm gas station and applying sales tax when getting it to go… unlike Jamba Juice. I don’t get charge sales tax when I get my drinks TO go And or for using debit cards… WOW! I now know where I’m doing my business at. Namm sayinn.

Here it is 8:45, sign on the door says close at 9:00PM. Yet the door is locked, there are two people inside, I guess they closed early?

No good! My smoothie was SOOOO sweet I couldn’t even finish it. They use some toxic fruit concentrate that just tastes like pure sugar. The service sucked too. I’m sticking with Jamba Juice from now on.

I love Juice It Up. They participated with Yuba City High School in one of their fund raisers and I bought a card for $ 10 that gave me buy 1 get 1 free Juice It Up for a year. Love it! The smoothies are great and it is great healthy option instead of ice cream.

To me Juice It Up is just a «poor man’s» Jamba Juice. The service at this location is excellent but I hate the way their smoothie’s taste. For some reason every one that I’ve tried has a perfume-like aftertaste. Not good. The wait times can be a little silly. I used to work in that shopping center and I would go get smoothies for my boss and I. I would seriously be gone for 10+ minutes. I think that’s a little crazy. Anyway, I think you’d be better off driving a mile or so and just picking up a Jamba Juice.

Juice It Up is very similar to Jamba Juice however, there are a few things that could be improved upon. This place is lacking seating. If you’re going here on a busy day, you better plan on getting your smoothie to go. Secondly, the menu is rather limited(in comparison to Jamba Juice). Last, but not least, the regular sized smoothie(24 oz.) costs 10 cents more than at Jamba Juice. On the plus side, if you register on the Juice It Up website, you can elect to recieve coupons in your email for deals(i.e. Buy one, get one free). This makes it appealing enough to keep returning. Juice it up also has a punch card system. Buy 10 smoothies and get the 11th smootie for free. 31 Jan 07 — After returning to Juice it up, the menu is now in direct competition with Jamba Juice. They have some truely different combinations available too. If you’re looking for a break from the same selection at Jamba Juice, this place is a solid choice. Bumping up for four stars!
