We tried this place for the first time and it was by far better than Baskin Robbins. I love how they make all of their ice cream there! The whipped cream tastes more like cool whip, it was good and had a different whipped cream taste. The ice cream was also not too sweet and just right. Their nuts was a mixture of nuts and waffle cone crumbs which is actually super good! We spent $ 10 which was really good considering the portions we got. We will definitely be back for a little date night soon.

The best ‘in route’ stop from Chico-​Fresno & Fresno-​Chico ever! Look forward to it each & every time over the past 50+ years! A family tradition passed through generations! Love it!

Ice cream is super good but the employee was super rude to her co worker and gave us an attitude as well.

Oh, dear God. This ice cream… it’s more like whipped cream and ice cream had a mutant child. And, this child will lure all within earshot. «Come, taste my custardy, fatty deliciousness. For I am Brock’s Iced cream and you will be showered in my loving embrace of artery clogging down-​home goodness». Ok, a little too dramatic? Well, this ice cream is totally fantastic. It’s a treasure for Yuba City.
We bought two ½ gallons to eat at our camping excursion. And, let’s just say we made lots of friends with our fellow glampers. The old fashioned vanilla on top of a warm baked peach pie? Greeeeeeaaaaaaaat Googly Moogly. Totally amazing.

I hope they come back to the GOLD Sox next year.

I recently stopped in for a ice cream cone and a shake for my kids and I. The place is very bright white with red trimming. The menu is simple and easy to understand. What I didn’t realize was that they actually make all the ice cream on site! You can sit down and enjoy your ice cream while watching them prepare a fresh batch exhibition style behind a window in the dining area. So rad.
The service was excellent. The girls behind the counter were very energetic and enthusiastic about the fresh product that they serve. I ordered a banana shake. My favorite. I was very happy! They were excited to make a lot of recommendations. I’m pumped to go back again and try something new.
It’s a must stop, while in Yuba City.

Three words: wild mountain blackberry! Brocks makes theirs fresh, and it’s awesome. In a sugar come with chocolate dip.

Best ice cream of all time! It’s homemade and they have lots of variety! The staff is always friendly and are happy to allow you to sample many flavors without making you feel guilty for being indecisive lol!

Best icecream place in yuba! It has so much character and has been around for ages! So many memories in this little icecream shop! Unilocal, you have mislead me. They do not have frozen yogurt. But the ice cream is good.

Best Ice-​cream in town for sure! There is always a wait, but it’s definitely worth it. I’m surprised they haven’t expanded with as much business as they get! If you haven’t been, you need to. I also like that they have «doggy ice-​cream». It’s rare that they have any, but when they do, my dogs always enjoy the special treat too! :p

I’ve never been disappointed. I usually get banana with hardening chocolate and whip on top. Soooooo delicious.

Seriously? Just do it, it’s amazing. That is all you need to know. Town staple, blah blah blah. Who doesn’t like ice cream? I don’t actually, thanks to my recent health screening, but if you AREN’T in my shoes, and want good, homemade ice cream, come here. I used to be a sucker for their raspberry cheesecake, and I think the seasonal pumpkin (if its still there, or if its seasonal, I can’t tell you, it was ten years ago I tried it), isn’t bad either.

For a city that doesn’t have much, it sure lucked out with this wonderful little ice cream parlor! I was craving ice cream tonight and decided to give this place a shot instead of Baskin Robbins across the street. It was dead at 9:30 but I appreciate that they were still open. Unilocal says they close at 11pm but they said they were closing at 10pm so just be aware of their hours.
The guy working there was patient with me since I was a bit confused looking at the menu. I couldn’t tell if the things listed were toppings or flavors or what. I finally decided on the «Single» size of their Razzle Dazzle and Marble Fudge flavors. The Razzle Dazzle flavor is basically a raspberry flavored ice cream that is absolutely delicious! The Marble Fudge was pretty good but definitely over shadowed by the other flavor. It may be confusing but their single scoop is actually two scoops of ice cream, while their double scoop is four scoops.
Overall, a definite must-​go place if you’re craving ice cream. You can taste just how fresh the ice cream is and the quality of the ingredients used!
