Don’t come here unless it’s your only option. Unless your appointment is right at 9am expect to wait 2 – 3.5 hours after your scheduled appointment time to be seen by the doctor. If your appointment is at 3, expect to sit there until dinner time. I’ve been here about 10 times over the course of the last 12 months and that’s never NOT been the case. They’ll stay open until almost 8pm to see all of the patients in the waiting room, so that’s good, but I have to take a half day off work every time I need to see the doctor. They take a lot of patients whose meds need to be administered daily or refilled weekly, so the office is always packed to the rafters with those folks because there are no more«clinics» in town who do that sort of thing. The desk staff is rude & frequently hangs up on me. When my pharmacy faxes them to have my prescription re-authorized they usually don’t respond for weeks & I usually have to call to beg them to find the fax and respond to it. Today was the last straw. After sitting in their waiting room for 2.5 hours yesterday &3.5 hours the week before, I took my prescription to the pharmacy only to find out that it was written for a dosage that doesn’t exist. The pharmacy called their office to straighten it out & they had no record of the prescription in my file, so she had to fax the prescription back to them & hours later they still haven’t responded to her fax while I’m at home in agony with no meds. It’s a shame because I really like Dr. Kahn, the female doctor who works out of that practice, but it’s not worth continuing to see her for the amount of crap I’ve had to deal with in that office.
