When you walk in you’ll note that it’s very nice and clean, although a lot smaller than it looks in their website. Then you start noticing the multiple notes attached to every corner of the house, warnings to not do things like leave a mess. The dishwashing liquid bottle even has permanent marker on it saying one capful is enough. Hmmm, either the owner is really anal or setting the stage to charge me with cleaning fees. Suspecting the latter, my friends and I made extra sure that they won’t have anything negative to say to us by cleaning the kitchen thoroughly, wiping everything down before we left. After our stay, I got an email from them itemizing what I owe her. Big surprise. $ 25 for breadcrumbs left on the counter, $ 25 for burning the stove. etc. I was shocked! I, of course refuted the charges and told her the breadcrumbs and the burnt stove was a fabrication and that I’ve talked to my credit card company and instructed them to decline any further charges from them and that the Better Business Bureau should investigate her. She backed down from her fictitious claims and said«I wasn’t gonna charge you anyway». Well, when you put dollar signs beside fictitious items, and say«you owe me» That’s charging. Please avoid this place, they’ll try to charge you for cleaning fees just to see if you’ll pay them. Unfortunately, there are some who would just pay to make it go away. Please don’t be that chump, consumer advocacy starts with you saying, «Stop! this is a scam.» At least that’s what I believe.
