A good place for breakfast. We went here for breakfast, while we camped at curry village. The bagel sandwich is filling and tastes how it should. The hot chocolate is of correct sweetness for me. But, many may find it too sweet. If you got the camping combo with breakfast, you will be given breakfast coupons when you get your keys from the curry village visitor center. Make sure you take the coupon. It covers up to $ 8 of breakfast — a bagel sandwich and hot chocolate. The coffee corner opens at 7:00a.m. for breakfast. Go as early as possible, to avoid standing in a long queue.

Saw the Unilocal reviews and figured I’d try it out. The place is next to the cafeteria, and is actually a Peet’s coffee place that also serves ice cream. I ordered ONE scoop, and they gave me a Bucket full of mint chocolate ice cream. Daaaammmnn. It was literally twice as much as I can finish. I have to admit though, the ice cream was nicccee. Smooth, milky, soft, and melts the moment you bite it. The price was also pretty decent too, given how much ice cream they give you. Definitely recommend stopping by for some cool ice cream after a long day of hiking.

Came here for the scooped ice cream. They have about 10 flavored. Scoops are size of baseballs! Got a triple scoop for $ 5.25. Line moves quickly.

Good coffee and ice cream. They serve Peet’s Coffee and about 8 generic flavors of ice cream. In the morning they serve fresh, warm pastries. You can’t ask for too much being in the middle of nature. The environment definitely makes everything taste 10x better. There’s nothing like drinking a hot latte while sitting outside surrounded by mountains and seeing a deer walk by you.

Peet’s coffee is now served throughout Yosemite Valley! Hooray! This little coffee area is the only place in winter to get food in the morning at Curry Village. I’m not sure why they don’t open the buffet, especially on a 3 day weekend like President’s Day, but the Coffee Corner will do in a pinch. They serve regular coffee along with lattes, cappuccinos, etc. as well as some decent looking pastries. If you’re really hungry(or need to load up on calories like we did) they also serve fat breakfast burritos. What a pleasant surprise! They have vegetarian(eggs, cheese, & assorted fresh veggies) or regular(eggs, cheese, potatoes, bacon, & salsa). A warm, overloaded burrito was just what I needed & the Peet’s coffee was nice & strong. It kept me going until long past lunch time. The burritos are pre-made but obviously made fresh that morning. I would totally grub on one of these burritos again if I ever stay in Curry Village since they don’t allow you to cook in or around the cabins.

A coffee shop that closes at noon(in the winter), and serves average espressos drinks, pastries, and maybe a hot item or two. They just don’t care too much about quality because Yosemite will get flooded with visitors in the summer season anyway. However, there are not a whole lot of coffee shops outside of Yosemite — you might have to drive 45 mins to get to a decent one — so you are stuck with instant coffee, your own french press(if you have one!), or this. Food wise, if you want a quick bite before noon, your choice aside from this is to make it yourself(or anything you can pick up from a grocery store). If you’re like me, here on a weekend trip and not planning to camp and cook food… Well good luck.

I read a couple reviews from 2010 that spoke of slow service. As of July ’12, nothing could be further from the truth. No matter what day or what time of the day we went in, the line moved quickly and efficiently. We went in around 8 times over four days. The coffee was so good(they serve Peet’s Coffee) I never even pulled my coffee maker out of the car. They even had International Delight coffee creamers. The ice cream was excellent — the $ 2 single scoop was massive and included a topping. We had coffee every morning and ice cream every afternoon. HIGHLYRECOMMEND!

TERRIBLE and incompetent service!!! How can you a have 4 people working behind the counter and still have a line of 25 – 30 people just stop moving for several minutes? They really should have an express line in the morning for drip coffee/tea, especially since the coffee and tea are self-serve. The only thing the counter staff do is give you the cup. Why do you have to wait in line for 20 minutes to get a cup? Oh, and if you are wearing gloves because you are handling food, STOPTOUCHINGYOURNOSE. It kind of defeats the purpose of wearing the gloves, dont you think?
