Target

This is a really nice target. It has a deli and bakery and produce. They have great selections in all three. They also have fresh doughnut which are pretty good. My bf and I are always in the electronicish area and its usually pretty good. Most of the time we find something that we want lol. I deducted a star cause we collect funkos they kind of suck with that. Other than that we really like target and we’re usually here at least once a week lol.

I shop here weekly– Cartwheel!
Always well stocked and the cashiers are mostly pleasant. Except for the guy I had yesterday. It may have been his first social interaction out of his Xbox. But, most of his coworkers are helpful and friendly.
The pharmacy is great!
Sometimes there is a longer wait at the deli. It would help if it were better staffed.

We’ve only been here a couple of times as we don’t live in IL but have family close by.
We love Target stores and usually try to seek them out when we’re traveling if we need anything as we know what they carry.
We did some brief Black Friday shopping while in the area.
The store seemed clean and in order.

So here it is… Wednesday night… my son wants Nutella sandwich. guess what? No Nutella in ds house. So I went to target in yorkville (target is my choice over wally when I have choice lol). It was around 7 pm found Nutella some bread and of course gummy bears. I’m on my way out and here it goes… bunch of people standing in lines, only 4 or 5 registers opened out of 20? So I just picked one that goes fast. Anyways wasn’t that bad better that it seamed. So I paid and all that good staff and I forgot to use $ 2.00 off coupon… dang! Went to customer service and told young lady that I forgot to use my high value coupon and she didn’t even asked she just did her thing on register and I walked out $ 2 richer. Whoo hooo. Any ways this target is great and all of them are nice (except some in the city). Only one thing is that they are understaffed sometimes.

They need more cashiers. Seems like every time I go here I am waiting in a long line with only a few items.

Gave it 1 star because I’m TIRED of waiting in the checkout lines. I regularly shopped at the store, have the Red Card, used Cartwheel and I live right down the road. I now shop at Jewel.

The service is as low as I’ve seen in a while. One check out lane and 8 customers waiting. Had to wait 10 minutes to check out. Leave yourself extra time when shopping at this target store.

This is more a review if Unilocal!Than anything else. I got routed to a residential neighborhood for this target. What a waste of time.

When they call it a Super Target, they aren’t messing around. They have a slightly larger selection than any otherTarget that I have been to. They even have fresh fruit and vegetables, a deli where you can grab your luncheon meat and more. There’s a decent selection of fresh meat too. Then there is dairy and any dry grocery you could probably need.
They also have everything that any other Target has. You need clothes, electronics, and various home essentials. They have all those things.
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.

This Target has a HUGE selection, great sale prices, a Starbucks, a Pizza Hut, and a great location. I stop by here for coffee, lunch, and last minute knick knacks before or after visiting the Kendall County Courthouse which is literally across the street. The employees are always very friendly, there are almost never any lines, and the bakery is amazing. I’ve been known to make a special trip to this Target just to get their chocolate chip red velvet muffins which are just down right AMAZING! This Target is definitely worth a stop if you find yourself in Kendall County.

if you buy your groceries here like i do you have noticed the selection has gone way down. it seems every time i go there they no longer carry grocery items i usually buy. the deli is about half of what it used to be. they are not good about giving you the discount on the free cheese when you buy 1 ½ lbs of deli meat. twice i had to go back to the service desk because they charged me for the cheese that was supposed to be free. the paper products t.p. paper towels are overpriced, i buy those items elsewhere. this last visit i bought a jar of clearance salsa and when i removed the clearance sticker (my son gives me a hard time about buying clearance food :) i saw that it was placed directly over the expiration date. it expired ⁵⁄₁₂ and they sold it to me ⁷⁄₁₂. i guess my son was right, don’t buy clearance food from the yorkville target. the people who work in the deli and bakery are super nice. the selection of produce is also not very good either. they do have some really good market pantry brand gelato, but they will probably discontinue that soon because i like it and buy it. they need better doughnuts. more selection in the meat dept. they need more selection in every grocery department really. it is down to the basics now and i’ve started to have to shop at 3 or 4 different stores for my families household needs. the prices are usually very competitive though for what they do carry. also their credit card has the worst customer service i’ve ever experienced from a credit card in my 24 years of having credit cards.
