Kiddie Campus Preschool & Child Care Inc

Kiddie Campus is a place where I feel completely at ease leaving my kids there while I work Monday thru Friday. The ladies who run the office (Daughter and Mother combo) and own the facility are very caring and attentive to what each child needs. My kids have been there since they were 6 weeks old and they are now almost 4 (b/​g twins). The kids love it there and it’s nice because most of the other kids in their rooms have been with them the entire time and they are very good friends because of it. They helped potty train my kids and within a week my daughter was completely potty trained. Their first priority is safety of the children in their care. The entry is locked and each parent has their own code to get in.
In response to the other reviewer they do move children sometimes to an age appropriate room if needed, but the main reason they do this is because if a teacher calls off or is sick those children still need a caregiver and they will move them with another room to make sure the children are properly cared for. The state regulates how many children can be with each teacher based on their age, so they will move them to a different room and move the oldest kids up as needed. This isn’t a bad thing, my kids loved going to the older rooms and playing with the different toys. Side note: they won’t put a 6 month old with a 5 year old room, but they may move some 3 – 4 year olds up to 5’s so the babies can still be age appropriate with 1 year olds, etc.
In response to previous reviewer about sickness-​imagine one parent brings a child in with a stomach virus or fever because they have to work-​who knows what it is and it can easily pass to the other 6 week old children within a few hours. It’s their duty to make sure the kids are healthy and not sick so the other kids don’t get sick as well. They are looking out for each child. Babies can be very sick if they catch something so the smaller babies room are on watch for sickness so it doesn’t spread. I actually appreciated this.
My kids are very well cared for and safe when I drop them off and Kiddie Campus is a perfect place for that.

I took my children here ages newborn and 2. My daughter’s teacher was constantly telling me she had an ear infection. Everytime I took her to the doctor she did not. If it wasn’t an ear infection she would think something else was wrong. I was also taking her to the Dr for a constant vaginitis issue. The Dr finally said it was because I wasn’t changing her diaper often enough. (She was potty training and only wore a diper for nap and bedtime at this time. Kiddie Campus kept her in a diaper all day.) I sent her with one diaper each day for naptime and it magically went away! I believe the teachers were being too lazy about making sure she used the bathroom.
If your child shows interest in potty training before 2, they don’t have a bathroom in the room so they will not work on the potty training with them and make them stay in a diaper until they are moved up into the 2’s room.
My son’s teachers were great (note 2 stars)! Never any issues with diaper rash or him seeming unhappy when we dropped him off. When my daughter moved up in the 2’s room we actually called her teacher Dumb Dumb because she always seemed clueless about everything going on around her.
They will also move your child into the older children’s room to make the numbers work for the day so they can cram more kids in. There is also a dog in the main office all the time so if your child is allergic beware. They are way over priced for what you get!
