Where to start but, wow. Thank you York Flower Shop for you excellent, warm, respectful, friendly, professional, and kind service.
I married a woman, so if you can imagine York Flower shop had to deal with two women’s opinions, styles, and double the bridesmaids… York Flower Shop was up for the task and exceeded our expectations!
When the flowers arrived to my dears grandmothers house, where we were getting ready, I was amazed. Flored. What an amazing addition to our special day. Pinks, and golds, and greenery! Absolutely gorgeous.
The day was marked by many special moments, memories from our amazing family and friends, and the awesome opportunity to be able to marry one another as a product of the Supreme Court Justice ruling. No, the flowers were not the only part of the day, but they created the beauty, and ceremonial decoration to what will always remain one of the most special days in our lives.
Thank you York Flower Shop for being such a warm, and welcoming place to work with.

Very disappointed with the lack of communication and customer service at York Flower Shop. I am from Massachusetts and getting married very close to the area in May. My fiancé and I had stopped in twice, once in October and once in November to discuss ordering flowers for our wedding. Both times and by two different employees we were told that we had plenty of time to order flowers and that we should come back in February. We had even asked about making an appointment once when we were there visiting and were told we would be fine and should wait until February. Since we are not having a wedding party we are not ordering many flowers anyways and weren’t too worried.
My fiancé and I are going to be in Maine a the end of February, so I called to see if we could stop by in between me getting my hair done and meeting with our photographer. The woman I spoke with was very stand offish and told me that the Saturday I was looking for was completely booked. When I put up a little bit of a stink, because I was frustrated she called back shortly and said I could come in at 9:15am when I had specifically told her that I couldn’t come until after 1pm. She also made the comment that May 2^nd is right before Mother’s Day. I’m sorry, but isn’t this a florist? May 2^nd is right before the 4^th of July too!
There are actually several other florists in the area who I have been looking into. Just found a florist today and I am so happy that she can accommodate me. Wish I had gone to her to begin with. I am so disappointed in the customer service at York Flower Shop. I will never ever recommend this florist to anyone. Good thing there are plenty of other florists in the area who are professional, caring, and who can accommodate their customers. Horrible experience here!

I used the York Flower Shop for all of my wedding & rehearsal dinner flowers. The employees were incredibly helpful and did a great job walking me through the process of picking out all of the flowers. I was very impressed with all of the bouquets & centerpieces and received so many compliments on them. The flowers are still alive and beautiful two weeks later!
