This was my first time in York, PA. My friends and I were hungry so I Unilocaled this place. We stopped in for breakfast and I must say I was impressed with this place. It’s very clean and inviting. They even have Patio seating. The prices are very Cheap and the food is solid. What more can you ask for.

Good food at a reasonable price. A group of us go here every now and then. Almost always have great service even though there is one waitress who just falls short but not a major problem. Saves money on tips!

We absolutely LOVE this restaurant. Staff is always pleasant, wonderful service & great pricing. We visit often and have never been disappointed. Others must agree because it is always busy regardless of time of day. If you’re looking for a relaxing family atmosphere, look no more. It doesn’t get any better than this.

Haven’t been here in almost 10yrs. They completely remodeled. Good food and surprisingly the prices haven’t changed much in 15yrs! Great coffee and the sausage links are the bomb! Pancakes were a bit rubbery and bacon was overdone and extremely salty. Maybe just that day. Would go there again.

This family restaurant is my favorite in York! The food is always exceptional, you can’t beat the prices, and the staff are caring, quick to serve, and very welcoming! I love the spinach salad and the homemade honey mustard dressing is killer! The homemade crab cake is not all backfin meat but it is really really good! Their menu has lots of variety to appeal to our diverse dietary likes! My husband loves the gyros and chicken and my kids love the grilled chicken and French fries!

I really do not understand why people love this place so much. It’s overpriced, the food is greasy and not in a good diner greasy way, and it takes forever to get your food even when it’s not crowded.

Service was fine, waitress was accommodating and always ready with questions. However, the coffee was hotter than the rest of the food, particularly the scrambled eggs and home fries. I would say take a chance and maybe you will have a better experience.

If you go anytime soon you may want to call first. They remodeled around 5−15−13 I haven’t been there since but when I did go the wait was terrible and I thought the food was just okay at best… I do however want to go back very soon. I’ve heard it’s much better now… so I’ll update soon :-)

This place may have potential but last nights meal was awful! The roast beef and stuffing was delicious but the mashed potatoes were clearly starchy, tasteless reconstituted boxed potato buds!
The corn was mushy and either canned or frozen.
The salad was finely sliced limp vegetables that were not crisp at all and looked like something you would pull out of a kitchen sink disposal. Dessert was ice cream that was pre-​scooped into bowls, frozen to the bowl and freezer burned on top.
The wait staff was very pleasant and helpful but I don’t understand how anyone could give this 5 stars.

Looking over the reviews I realized that I have not reviewed Stonybrook. We are regular breakfast patrons. Great food and staff! I have not had a bad meal here! They are currently updating the interior make sure you stop in if you are looking for great food.

great breakfast food! place gets packed on a saturday morning so be prepared to wait a few minutes… they can accomodate large groups and single diners. standard diner fare with excellent service.

This is a great local diner! The prices are reasonable and the food is great, especially breakfast. Their breakfast specials until 11:30 AM are all low-​priced with good portion size. Lots of seating, neat and clean dining area. Nothing fancy but good food. Also, the wait staff is always friendly, especially on the weekends.

Love this little diner! It could use some updating on the décor but the food is delicious, the staff is fantastic and the prices are extremely reasonable. You can get a huge breakfast for under 5 dollars and their bacon is the best I’ve ever had. We go there frequently and have many favorites. Don’t pass this restaurant by! Homemade old fashioned cooking, all of the «comfort» foods that we all love!
