Food good, service with a smile and fast. If it weren’t for the flys I would give it a 5

This review is on this location only, as we have ate at the one in Omaha which I would give 5 stars this one, barley a 1,. traveling across Nebraska we usually eat in York at one of the Chinese places on that strip, but since we like Dickeys decided to stop there instead. We walked in and looked at the menu for a few minutes even though we all pretty much knew what we wanted. I would have to say the prices are about a buck higher then they are in Omaha which kind of surprised me considering the town is smaller, which usually generates lower prices. The girl behind the counter was not friendly at all, no greeting, not even as much as a hello which is also a surprise considering the ones in Omaha usually greet you when you step foot in the door. I ordered the polish sausage with onion tanglers and waffle fries, BF ordered the special which was the pulled pork meal and my son ordered chicken nuggets and a side. My polish sausage and his pulled pork were cold, which ticks me off considering we spent near 30 bucks for this stinking meal. I understand they don’t get much business so maybe that has something to do with it, pulled it out of the fridge or something instead of cutting in there in front of you.(you could not see over the counter as you could in the one in Omaha to see what they are doing.) BF wanted to take it back for them to warm up, but I vtoed the idea, these people were not friendly and I didn’t want to deal with them. my onion tanglers were so very very salty and I could not eat them. the waffle fries were good(that’s where the one star came from). My son gave the chicken nuggets a «thumbs to the side» which meant that it was alright. He liked the chips but said they tasted like«Lays». I only ate part of my meal and threw out the rest because of how cold it was and it just kind of sucked. I did notice that 3 of the male employees spent a lot of time messing with the tv trying to change the channel or something, who knows,(I do have a picture of two of the guys messing with it, I will post later) maybe they should be focusing on the job and not the tv„ no one in the dining room asked them to change the channel, I am fairly certain they were changing it for themselves. I am sure the company really doesn’t want to pay the employees to watch tv. Just do your job, and do it right. I highly doubt we will ever come back to this location. I will stick with the Chinese place next door or across the street.

Fast food barbecue chain serving something more substantial than a burger. When you’re on a road trip through Nebraska it’s nice to have this choice available!
