Went to this location after receiving a promotional coupon. We arrived in the middle of a lunch rush and there were plenty of customers here(a good sign). The line went quickly and orders were being delivered as quickly. The girl who took our order was very pleasant and professional; she also happened to be the one to place our lunch on a tray and pass it to me. Our food was prepared quickly and tasted very fresh(I had the mixed plate and my wife had the steak bowl). The portions were also plentiful. Before leaving, I caught the attention of the manager and told him of our impression of his restaurant, especially the outstanding and professional customer service we received from our counter person. She represented his business very well.

Had a great experience there, had the kids with me in the car, it was 107 outside and I asked if they’d be willing to come out and take my card, charge me for the food and bring it to the car so I didn’t have to take the kids out in this heat. The young lady that helped me was so sweet and patient and weathered the crazy heat herself several times to process the order, bring the order out and then back again to bring me the drink. Thank you for being so helpful!

Ok I’ve eaten here now 3 times so I can write a accurate review. This place makes a solid chicken and beef bowl and now I’ve tried the shrimp which is also good. The service I received was very good as well. It’s great to have a healthy option for dinner when I work late and can not cook. The chicken is flavorful as is the beef. The shrimp was a great addition being able to order skewers on the side to my bowl tonight. I will be frequently visiting this chain to satisfy my taste for healthy clean eating.

Waba grill is by far the best restaurant, I come here almost everyday for lunch. It doesn’t make me feel bloated and the employees are always trying to make it the best experience possible. Please visit and enjoy!

I love the food at WaBa Grill. The customer service — not so much. Have any of ya’ll tried calling in for a ‘pick-up’ order, not one or two times, or three times — BUTFOURTIMES, and experience any of the following situations like I have? I have tried calling in my order 4! times! and have experienced terrible, terrible, customer service each and every time. So here I am… my experiences go a little something like the following… First time calling in at WaBa went a little something like this — phone rang 6 or 7 times, when all of a sudden a gentleman(whoever that gentleman was, I don’t know — he didn’t give a name — maybe they are not trained to say their name?) said, «HELLO?» Me: oh, hi. hello? Is this WaBa Grill? This was the number I called(714) 695‑9700. So it definitely was the correct number to Waba Grill. Waba Guy: ahh, yeah. click. hangs up. Me: I thought it was my phone who dropped the call… So I call back, and call back, and call back, and call back, but now all of a sudden I could not get through. Line was busy. 15 minutes later goes by, I finally got through! I ordered my food, picked it up. I didn’t take it personal. It was delicious!!! I was determined to get my WaBa fix! So delicious that I couldn’t wait to eat the same exact thing I had ordered, again! :) So a couple days go by… I want WaBa again! :) So I tried calling in my order… The second time calling in at WaBa went a little something like this — rang 5 times, when… waba guy answers — no name. :) Waba Guy: Hello, Waba Grill. How can I help you? Me: Hi, can I place an order for pick up, please? Waba Guy: ahh, yeah. click. hangs up. Me: wth? so I call back. But the same thing happened the first time I called and tried placing an order. So I call back, and call back, and call back, and call back, but could not get through. Line was busy. 15 minutes later goes by, I finally got through! I ordered my food, and on my way there I thought to myself, they are just busy! I arrived to pick it up, the place was not busy at all, there were 2 of us in there because they close at 9:00pm and I was cutting it close to the wire. Second time around of this identical situation — experienced in such a short amount of time, I couldn’t help but think something was a little off. But whatever, I wanted WaBa again. Third times a charm — so they say, right? ;) The third time calling in at WaBa went a little something like this — rang 3 times, when… Waba picked up. Waba: Picked up phone but didn’t talk into it – leaves it off the hook. Now I feel they are doing this on purpose because, well, I am a professional at this point — after 2 previous episodes. Do they have caller ID? Did they know I was calling in another order for pick-up? haha. Me: Hello? hello? Waba: background noise… Me: Now I am annoyed, especially at the customer service. Very unprofessional, I thought, and I was too afraid to ask them any kind of questions as to what’s causing these complications EVERYTIME I called to place an order for pick-up? I tried contemplating how I could inquire, but the fear of having spit or whatever put in my food overpowered, so I refrained and bit my tongue when I decided to called back 10 minutes later. Flame Broiler started sounding really good at this point. But…10 minutes later, I got through, ordered, and told myself that I would not order eat there again. But my friend wanted WaBa Grill just this past Monday, on Sept. 8th — so I asked if he could call and place the order, but he could not, so I did. And guess what? The SAMEEXACT thing happened as did the first, second, and third time. I usually do not like to complain or make fusses, but having the same thing happen 4 times in a row is a disturbing indicator at the kind of employees WaBa is hiring to have represent your company in such a terrible way.

Such a big fan! While staying in Yorba Linda for the summer, this was a favorite! Their teriyaki chicken bowls with brown rice & avocado are really good; as well as their drink selection– the fountain drinks and the ones from the fridge! It’s a fairly big place with lots of seating and a friendly atmosphere! They were also playing the World Cup on their television! The staff is super nice and always cleaning! Love this place!

My wife and I were very displeased and disappointed at the quality of the most basic on the menu. My wife ordered the chicken bowl w/veggies and I ordered the half & half beef and chicken w/veggies with small soda. Let me first say, the staff was good and even offered senior disc, the facilities are clean and tidy in appearance. However, the food did not impress us in the very least… the chicken was diced and made to look plentiful… the beef was scraggy and diced as well and not very plentiful at all… the veggies were undercooked as well as the rice. There was no redeeming quality in the food, at all. My wife and I compared notes and concluded the following: 1. Our bowls look nothing like the pictures on the menu 2. We will never return. 3. We will not be recommending this plact to anyone

Highly dissatisfied with how I was treated when picking up my order that I had called in. I was told my order would be ready in 15 mins after calling it in. I arrive to pick up my order and they have no record of it. The girl is clueless that I had even called. Who I think was the manager comes over and tell me that I called the wrong store when I know for a fact I called the right one. He never apologized to me for the miscommunication and proceeded to talk to his employee in a un respectful way to just start my order again. I then had to put my whole order in again and waste more of my lunch break waiting for my food which by the way I was picking up for my other coworkers as well. I have always been a fan of Waba Grill but after the way I was treated and how the manager acted towards me I will most likely never come back to this location again.

1st Star = Good Food 2nd Star = Friendly Staff, except the Manager Today i came to Waba Grill for lunch, most staff member was nice and friendly, food was good. Until i took a bit on a large piece of BONE inside the chicken plate, i told the staff member and show it to them,. the staff member quickly said«i’m sorry, bones shouldn’t be inside the chicken, i’ll let my manager know now». I saw he told his manager, and manager totally didn’t care about what i told them. So when i’m about to leave the store, i ask the friendly staff, «is your manager going to say something?», so his manager walks to the front and said with a unpleasant attitude, «SORRY, BONESINSIDETHECHICKENISNORMALYOUKNOW”, and that’s it. BEWARE of BONESINSIDE the CHICKEN, STOREMANAGER said ITSNORMAL!!!

Guilt free, quick and delicious… that is Waba Grill! I have been to a few other locations(Chino Hills and Walnut) and this one is up to par with them. The food is always so tasty, you can tell its fresh but that doesn’t take away from the flavor. Store is always clean and staff is on point, we used a coupon the last time I was there and the staff was very accommodating. I don’t think many people know about this location as it’s usually pretty empty even during lunch(I do see a good number of take away orders though). Started coming here 2 months ago and it has turned into a weekly lunch spot. Brown rice too! Yummy.

I come here regularly, and it’s currently my favorite fast food restaurant. The menu is very similar to Flame Broiler’s, but Waba Grill tastes umpteen times better. The food is cooked to order very quickly. The taste is consistently good. Having been here multiple times, only once did I have a less than superb experience, and that was when there were a couple of bones left in the meat. When I took my plate to the counter, the girl there expressed concern and said that their meat is pre-cut(but cooked to order there), but that she would alert the manager. So the food is tasty. You can get brown rice for slightly more money. They have their own teriyaki sauce that’s delicious(and unique). They don’t have desserts, but there’s a beverage machine that has a drink that tastes a lot like an Orange Julius, so don’t forget to try that out if you are wanting a sweet finish to your meal. Also, if you intend to go here, get the Hot Spot application on your smart phone. Once a month it will alert you to a buy-one-get-one-free deal. Weekends also have a special deal running.

No horse meat First time here and thought it was decent. The kid working at the counter certainly wasn’t trying to win any employee of the month awards. When a customer thanks you, maybe you make eye contact and acknowledge them? I got the chicken teriyaki bowl and it was pretty good. Flavors and freshness weren’t too bad — although the chicken was kind of burnt so a few pieces hand a funky flavor. It was nice not seeing the hardened solidified fat attached to the chicken like on Panda’s Mandarin chicken bowl. Price was pretty fair for 2 people — although we did have a coupon, which made it nice. All in all, 3 stars sums it up pretty well. If the coupon is there, I’d visit again.

Restaurant is basically a teriyaki grill with choices of chicken, steak, and salmon. I chose the salmon fillet, with extra salmon, on brown rice. Also had the sauce on the side. The salmon fillets are a bit small, so 2 is definitely needed if you need at least 7 oz to satisfy you. My dish was tasty and definitely worth the price(less than $ 10). The steak and chicken bowls looked good too. Restaurant is pretty clean, but small. I would assume that it gets crowded during lunch. Service was good and really have no complaints. Located in the Yorba Linda area where there’s tons of other eats. If your looking for chicken/steak/salmon bowls that are fairly priced, at a clean restaurant, with decent service… then this restaurant should be on your list. PS: Hi honey. Happy Halloween. Hope you had a good day at school. Love you and be good. Don’t eat too much candy!

This place is much better than Flame Broiler. The meat has more flavor and more tender. There is a Flame Broiler near my house and I only went once when it first opened. I am really glad this one opened so I can grab some quick bites. The portion is generous. I ate ½ for lunch and the other ½ for dinner. The staff is friendly and very efficient. If you’re tired of burgers, tacos, and fried chicken, this is an alternative for your lunch/dinner.
